Canton Network CC airdrop step by step tutorial
The Canton Network airdrop is an ongoing reward model, not a dated campaign: Canton Coin (CC), which has already launched, is minted for apps, users and infrastructure providers according to their activity on the network. As of 1 November 2026 it is still running, and the project's FAQ gives no closing date. Taking part means building an application, running a validator or other infrastructure, or using the network's apps and assets.
Live · checked 1 November 2026
As of 1 November 2026, the Canton Network FAQ says every Canton Coin in supply is earned through contributions to network utility, and the project's site still invites builders and validators to take part.
Canton Network pays Canton Coin (CC) to apps, users and infrastructure providers for activity on the network, with no closing date as of 1 November 2026.
What is Canton Network?
Canton Network is a public blockchain network aimed at regulated finance, which its own site presents as the first open blockchain network to build privacy in. It links financial systems and applications so that assets and data can move between them while each party keeps control of what it shares.
Privacy works at the sub-transaction level, set in the smart contract and enforced by the protocol. Each party receives only the parts of a transaction that apply to it, so in a payment-versus-delivery trade the bank sees the cash leg and the securities registrar sees the asset leg. Applications set their own openness, from fully permissionless to entirely private.
The network is used by institutions. Its site offers resources for connecting to the DTCC Tokenization Service on Canton, which covers DTC-custodied tokenized U.S. Treasuries, equities and ETFs. Canton Coin (CC) is the token the network uses for fees and rewards, and the project says it was made to pay for real usage, not speculation.
How Canton Network works
Canton connects applications as a network of networks. Privacy rules are written into each smart contract, and operators of the infrastructure see only limited metadata, such as the status of a transaction and which parties are involved. Using the shared infrastructure costs fees, and those fees are paid in Canton Coin.
Canton Coin follows a burn-and-mint model. Fees paid by users are burned, which removes those coins from circulation, while a recurring 10-minute cycle lets participants mint new coins tied to their activity. The project describes the aim as issuing and burning a similar amount over time.
Rewards go to three kinds of participant. Super Validators secure the infrastructure, validators run their own nodes and can earn through transaction rewards and a share of app rewards, and application providers deploy apps and tokenized assets. The project describes app provider rewards as a continuing, grant-like stream.
The split between these groups changes over time. A March 2025 post gave applications the largest share of the reward pool through mid-2029 (62%), with the Super Validator share falling to 20%. An October 2025 post said that from January 2026 around 516 million CC a month would be shared among featured applications, and that an app applies for featured status at sync.global.
The Canton Coin airdrop
The campaign pays Canton Coin (CC), which participants mint by contributing to the network. Apps, users and infrastructure providers can all qualify: through running Global Synchronizer software, building and operating applications, or hosting validator infrastructure. Featured applications share a monthly pool, and a validator node currently needs sponsorship.
Step by step: how to get the Canton Coin airdrop
Stay safe: a real airdrop never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Use only the official links on this page, and treat any message that offers help with a claim as a scam.

Start with the project's Canton Coin explainer, which covers who can mint rewards and how fees are burned.
Step 2: Pick a role: connect, build or run
Step 3: Request a validator node
If you want to run a validator, use the Canton Foundation validators page. The FAQ notes that sponsorship is currently needed.

Canton Network airdrop FAQ
Is the Canton Network airdrop still live?
- Yes, as of 1 November 2026. Canton Coin has already launched, and the FAQ says contributors can keep minting rewards for their activity, with no closing date given. It is an ongoing activity-based reward model rather than a dated campaign.
What is the Canton Network token?
- The token is Canton Coin, ticker CC. The project calls it the network's own utility token, made to pay for real usage, not speculation. It launched with no pre-mine, no pre-sale and no special allocations to founders, VCs or foundations, and every coin in circulation was earned through participation.
How are Canton Coin rewards earned?
- Participants mint rewards by contributing to the network. Qualifying work includes running Global Synchronizer software, building and operating apps, and hosting validator infrastructure. Featured applications share a monthly pool, and validators can earn transaction rewards and a share of app rewards. Usage fees are burned in return.
Does taking part in Canton Network cost anything?
- Using the network's public infrastructure costs fees, paid in Canton Coin, and those fees are burned. Running a validator needs a node, and the FAQ says sponsorship is currently needed to request one. Beyond fees, the extra item for running a validator is a node itself.
