What is GTE?

GTE is a trading platform whose orderbook runs fully on-chain, with the aim of matching the latency of a centralized exchange. It offers perps and spot markets, along with an API built for agents.

Ahead of launch, GTE runs a waitlist site where visitors get a personal card, claim a username and collect points. A name reserved there stays locked to the card until the platform goes live. The project shares build updates on its X account, @GTE_XYZ, which the waitlist links to.

GTE has not published a launch date on its waitlist site.

How GTE works

The trading side of GTE is a perpetuals and spot venue. The waitlist previews it with a sample perp market showing long and short orders, leverage and a maker fee.

The waitlist campaign runs on points. A follow of GTE on X or on Instagram is credited with 25 points once 24 hours have passed. For Instagram, you enter your handle and the waitlist checks that the connected account matches it and follows @gte.xyz. Reserving a username is worth +25 points, and the name stays locked to your card until launch. A "Stay connected" task that points to GTE's channels is listed at +50 points, and the Refer a friend section lists +100 points each.

No token or ticker appears on the waitlist site, and it does not say when points would be counted or claimed or what they would be used for. The site also gives no end date for the campaign.

The GTE Points airdrop

GTE has not announced a token or any reward for its waitlist points, so the campaign currently pays points only. Anyone can join on the waitlist site by following GTE on X and Instagram, reserving a username and referring friends, with each task listing the points it adds.

Step by step: how to get the GTE Points airdrop

Stay safe: a real airdrop never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Use only the official links on this page, and treat any message that offers help with a claim as a scam.

  1. Step 1: Open the GTE waitlist

Go to the GTE waitlist site to get your personal card. The site lists the points beside each task, and a reserved username is locked to your card.

  2. Step 2: Reserve your username

Type the username you want into the reservation field on the waitlist site, using 3 to 15 letters, numbers or underscores. The site gives names to whoever asks first, and it lists +25 points for reserving one.

  3. Step 3: Follow GTE on X and Instagram

Follow GTE on X and follow @gte.xyz on Instagram. For Instagram, enter your handle on the waitlist site and continue in the Instagram app with that same account. A follow on either network is credited with 25 points once 24 hours have passed.

  4. Step 4: Refer friends

Use the Refer a friend section on the waitlist site, which lists +100 points each.
