What is HyperLend?
HyperLend is a lending and borrowing protocol that describes itself as the credit layer of Hyperliquid. Its stated aim is to turn idle capital into programmable credit, natively integrated within Hyperliquid.
In the app, a user supplies assets and sees a net APY on the dashboard, can borrow against them, and sees a borrow limit. The app also offers an E-Mode setting and a staking feature called Stake & Save, which works with the HPL token.
The app runs at app.hyperlend.finance, and supplied assets are held as hTokens in the user's wallet.
How HyperLend works
In HyperLend, a user supplies assets to the protocol and can then borrow against that collateral. The dashboard shows the balance, the borrow limit still available, the amount borrowed and a net APY. Supplied assets are represented by hTokens in the user's own wallet.
