What is Reaper Actual?
Reaper Actual is an open-world persistent shooter made by Distinct Possibility Studios. Players take the role of Reapers, former Tier 1 operators from armed forces and intelligence services, on the island of Marova, a world held by five AI-controlled factions at war with one another and hostile to every player at all times.
Players run missions, fight other players, collect loot and bring it back to a base, a home location with a vault and crafting stations. An AI called Cerberus generates the missions, built to put players in contact with each other. The world has no matches with a start and an end, so players join whenever they like and stay as long as they want, with MMO-style progression.
The game is built for PC. The project's news page records its entry into Steam Early Access, and its latest patch notes, from August 2026, add German and Spanish language options plus trading and selling.
How Reaper Actual works
Reaper Actual works as a persistent shooter without matches. A character levels up, a base grows, and players collect different Reapers. Missions come from the factions of Marova, and Cerberus decides who receives them, sometimes giving one mission to a group and the counter-mission to another so the two meet.
The game comes in two versions. On Steam and the Epic Games Store, its FAQ says no crypto elements are present.
