Sahara AI SAHARA airdrop step by step tutorial
The Sahara AI airdrop was a points program tied to the company's private testnet seasons, and it has ended as of 29 October 2026. Sahara Points were replaced by the public Data Services Platform, which runs without seasons. Contributors there label, annotate or validate AI data in tasks and are paid SAHARA tokens for each approved contribution, so no points round remains to join.

What is Sahara AI?
Sahara AI is a company that builds blockchain-based infrastructure and agent products for AI, and runs a platform where contributors help produce AI training data.
Its Data Services Platform lets contributors complete data tasks that help train AI systems. Enterprises can also order data work through a separate Data Services offering on the company's site.
The company also lists consumer products on its homepage: Sorin, a personal agent for digital markets with a desktop app in beta, and ClawApp, a desktop app for deploying OpenClaw agents locally.
How Sahara AI works
On the Data Services Platform, enterprises, partners or the community create tasks, and contributors pick the ones that match their skills. Submissions are checked by automated, peer, machine and human review, and approved work is rewarded automatically in SAHARA tokens.
Tasks come in three kinds. Enterprise tasks pay SAHARA. Dual-reward tasks add bonus rewards from partners, such as partner tokens or points. Community tasks pay nothing at once but give contributors proportional ownership rights in the resulting dataset.
The private testnet ran in seasons and used Sahara Points. The July 2025 launch post removed both: contributors now take part continuously and earn SAHARA instead. They collect XP for approved tasks, and higher levels unlock harder tasks with larger SAHARA rewards. Some advanced tasks may ask contributors to lock a small amount of SAHARA temporarily, a requirement the post says was not in force during the initial launch.
The SAHARA airdrop
The campaign listed here, Sahara Points from the private testnet seasons, no longer runs, and the launch post says there are no more Sahara Points. The Data Services Platform that replaced it pays SAHARA tokens for approved task contributions. The post says rewards can include stablecoins like USD1 or USDT, and dual-reward tasks add partner rewards such as partner tokens. Anyone can take part by completing tasks, and higher levels unlock tasks with bigger SAHARA rewards.
Step by step: how to get the SAHARA airdrop
Kept for reference: this is how the campaign worked while it ran.
Stay safe: a real airdrop never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Use only the official links on this page, and treat any message that offers help with a claim as a scam.
Step 1: Open the Data Services Platform
Go to the Data Services Platform, the public successor to the private testnet seasons.
Step 2: Pick a task that fits your level
Tasks are tagged by method and can be filtered by category or level. Lower levels can only open easy to intermediate tasks, which pay the lowest SAHARA rewards.
Step 3: Submit work for review
Complete the annotation, labeling or validation task and submit it for approval.
Step 4: Earn XP and level up
Approved tasks add XP. Higher levels open advanced tasks that pay larger SAHARA rewards.
Step 5: Collect SAHARA for approved work
Rewards for approved contributions are paid in SAHARA, and dual-reward tasks add partner rewards on top.
Sahara AI airdrop FAQ
Is the Sahara AI airdrop still live?
- No. As of 29 October 2026, the points airdrop has ended. Sahara AI's July 2025 launch post for the public Data Services Platform says seasons were removed and there are no more Sahara Points. The platform stays open and pays SAHARA tokens per approved task, which is task pay rather than the points airdrop.
What token does Sahara AI pay?
- Sahara AI pays SAHARA tokens. Its launch post says approved contributions on the Data Services Platform are rewarded in SAHARA, and that rewards can include stablecoins like USD1 or USDT. Dual-reward tasks add partner tokens or points. The post gives no conversion for the old Sahara Points.
Is there a fee to start contributing on the Sahara AI Data Services Platform?
- Nothing is charged to start. The launch post says all users could access tasks freely at the initial launch. Later phases may ask for a temporary lock of a small amount of SAHARA to reach some advanced or enterprise tasks, and the post says that locked amount is not spent.
Does the Sahara AI Data Services Platform need KYC?
- The launch post names no identity verification for tasks on the Data Services Platform. It describes reputation scoring, submission reviews and contribution audits as anti-sybil measures instead, and says some advanced tasks may need a temporary lock of a small amount of SAHARA. That lock is a holding requirement, not an identity check.
