Venice VVV airdrop step by step tutorial

The Venice VVV airdrop has ended as of 29 October 2026: the token dashboard on venice.ai reports that allocations left unclaimed were destroyed in March 2025, and it shows no open claim or points campaign. What remains is ordinary participation: you can stake VVV for yield, or mint DIEM, a token worth $1 of daily Venice API credit, against staked VVV.

As of 29 October 2026, the Venice token dashboard reports that airdrop allocations nobody claimed were destroyed in March 2025, so the VVV airdrop claim is closed. The dashboard now offers VVV staking yield and DIEM minting, and shows no open airdrop or points campaign.

What is Venice?

Venice is a private AI platform for creating text, images, video, audio and code. Its home page says it offers fully private or anonymized models from leading AI providers, and its API documentation describes access to those models behind one API key, across text, image, video and audio.

Venice puts privacy at the centre of its pitch, describing four tiers: anonymized access to third-party models, private self-hosted open-source models where prompts are never stored, hardware-secured enclaves, and end-to-end encryption.

The Venice token, VVV, sits beside the app. The token dashboard calls it the capital asset of Venice, and holders can stake it for yield or mint DIEM against it. DIEM is described as carrying $1 of Venice API credit per day.

How Venice works

You use Venice through its web app or through an API that follows the OpenAI format, so existing OpenAI-style tools can point at Venice's address instead. Usage can be paid with credits, with a daily allowance from staked DIEM or VVV, or per request in USDC from a Base wallet through the x402 option, which needs no account or API key.

The token side works through staking. Staking VVV earns yield, and DIEM is minted against staked VVV (sVVV): the dashboard shows a mint rate in sVVV per DIEM, and the FAQ lists a 7-day unstake cooldown for sVVV. Holding DIEM or VVV in staking gives a set amount of API usage each day, and calls are not billed separately. Venice also puts some of its monthly revenue toward purchasing VVV and destroying it, a practice that began in December 2025.

The airdrop itself is over: the token dashboard says Venice destroyed every allocation nobody had claimed in March 2025. The dashboard shows no points system or season that currently earns more VVV, so the ways Venice rewards VVV holders now are staking yield and DIEM minting rather than a claim.

The Venice token airdrop

The token dashboard says airdrop allocations left unclaimed were destroyed in March 2025, so the claim is closed, and it gives no eligibility rules for the original airdrop. What it offers now is a staking yield on VVV and the option to mint DIEM against staked VVV, a token carrying $1 of daily credit for Venice's API. No points campaign is shown.

Step by step: how to get the Venice token airdrop

Kept for reference: this is how the campaign worked while it ran.

Stay safe: a real airdrop never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Use only the official links on this page, and treat any message that offers help with a claim as a scam.

  1. Step 1: Open the Venice token dashboard

Go to the token dashboard to see the burn notice for the unclaimed airdrop tokens and confirm the claim is closed.

  2. Step 2: Connect a wallet to see your holdings

The dashboard has a wallet connection and a holdings view. Connect a wallet there to see any VVV or DIEM it holds.

  3. Step 3: Stake VVV for yield

Staking VVV is how the dashboard says holders are rewarded now. Venice's docs point to a DIEM guide for readers who want to look further into the token side.

  4. Step 4: Mint DIEM against staked VVV if you want API credit

DIEM is minted against staked VVV (sVVV), and the dashboard shows a mint rate in sVVV per DIEM. Venice's FAQs list questions on unlocking sVVV after minting and on a 7-day unstake cooldown.

Venice airdrop FAQ

Is the Venice airdrop still live?

No. As of 29 October 2026, the VVV airdrop claim is closed: the Venice token dashboard says unclaimed allocations were destroyed in March 2025. The dashboard now offers VVV staking yield and DIEM minting, with no open airdrop or points campaign.

What is the Venice token?

The Venice token is VVV. The token dashboard describes it as the capital asset of Venice, which holders can stake for yield or put toward minting DIEM. Since December 2025 Venice has also put part of its monthly revenue toward purchasing VVV and destroying it.

What is DIEM on Venice?

DIEM is a token minted against staked VVV. The token dashboard says each one is worth $1 of Venice API credit per day, and the API docs say staking DIEM or VVV gives a set amount of usage each day without separate charges per call.

Does Venice cost money or need KYC?

Signing up for Venice is free, and the home page says no credit card is required. Paid plans and API credits are optional, and staking VVV means holding the token, which is separate from using the free app. The home page lists no identity check for signing up.
