What is X1 EcoChain?

X1 EcoChain is a Layer 1 blockchain that is compatible with the EVM and reaches consensus through a method called Proof of Nodes (PoN). The project calls it a Web4 chain and says it runs on low-power physical machines named X1Nodes rather than in centralized data centers.

According to its technical whitepaper, the network counts more than 8,500 nodes in over 60 countries, each rated at 3 Wh. The white paper describes plug-and-play node hardware that a person can set up at home.

Developers get a bridge, a token constructor and SDKs, and the chain uses a token standard called ECO-20. Its ecosystem hub lists dApps built on the chain, and the main site presents Ecodex, an app for swapping assets and providing liquidity, as one of them.

How X1 EcoChain works

X1 EcoChain reaches agreement through Proof of Nodes, with the network carried by low-power X1Nodes. Because the chain is EVM-compatible, developers can deploy smart contracts and dApps on it, and the project supplies an SDK, a token constructor and a bridge for that purpose.

The ECO Points dashboard runs on the X1 EcoChain testnet. It offers Ecosystem Tasks, Quests and a Leaderboard, and shows an ECO Points total and a rank. The testnet site also lists a Claim X1T option. Both the main site and the testnet site promote an airdrop banner for Multichain Score holders, which offers eligibility to people who mint a Multichain Score.

The roadmap on the main site places the TGE and mainnet in Q4 2026, along with the listing of X1 Coin on exchanges. X1 EcoChain has not published how ECO Points convert into rewards, a snapshot date, a claim date, a token supply or an allocation for airdrop participants.
