OAS
Oasys airdrops
Oasys is a blockchain for games with two layers: an EVM-compatible proof-of-stake Hub-Layer, where gas is paid in OAS, and Verse-Layers, Layer 2 chains run by game operators who pay their players' gas. Ubisoft's Champions Tactics is one of the games built on Oasys. OAS holders can stake with Hub-Layer validators from MetaMask, and a validator needs at least 10 million OAS staked to its address.

About Oasys
Oasys is a blockchain for games: an EVM Layer 1 hub plus game-run Layer 2 verses where players pay no gas. Find Oasys airdrops and their status.
Oasys is a blockchain built for games. Its Hub-Layer is an EVM-compatible proof-of-stake Layer 1 that handles tokens, bridges and rollups, while games run on Verse-Layers, Layer 2 chains based on Optimism whose operators pay the gas so players do not. OAS pays for gas on the Hub-Layer and is staked with its validators.
Oasys airdrops FAQ
What is Oasys?
- Oasys is a blockchain designed for games. Its docs describe a Hub-Layer, an EVM-compatible Layer 1 built on a fork of Go Ethereum that uses proof of stake, and Verse-Layers, Layer 2 chains where game logic runs. The Hub-Layer produces a block every 6 seconds, changed from 15 seconds in August 2024, and its docs say finality takes about 30 seconds.
Do you pay gas on Oasys?
- Not as a player on a verse: the Oasys whitepaper says gas on a verse is paid by the verse operator, and anyone who deposits more than 1 million OAS can build a verse. On the Hub-Layer, transactions are paid for in OAS, and only smart contracts that Oasys accepts, for tokens, rollups and bridges, are deployed there.
What is the OAS token used for?
- OAS pays for gas on the Hub-Layer and secures it through staking: validators are picked by the amount of OAS staked to them, and a validator needs at least 10 million OAS. Holders can stake OAS to any validator, including from MetaMask, and unstake at any time; changes take effect at the end of the current epoch.
Which wallet do I need for Oasys airdrops?
- An EVM wallet such as MetaMask, which the Oasys docs use for staking OAS. A game on a verse can set its own wallet steps: Champions Tactics listed MetaMask and Sequence among the third-party wallets compatible with its platform. A legitimate airdrop never asks for your seed phrase or private key.
