What is Chakra Labs?
Chakra Scout, from Chakra Labs, was a program in which contributors known as scouts fed a network that Chakra says went toward building a text dataset for AI pre-training, made available for research.
Chakra's notice explains its direction now: it says it is putting its effort into other products, and that Scout is winding down. The app does not name those products.
The Scout app at app.chakra.dev reports network stats of 254,514 scouts, 21,429 years of total uptime and 5,568,098,986 events scouted.
How Chakra Labs works
Scout is a contribution network. People who join are called scouts, and the network tallies the events each one scouted along with their uptime. Chakra says those contributions went into a pre-training text dataset for research, and the app reports network totals of 254,514 scouts, 21,429 years of uptime and 5,568,098,986 events scouted.
The campaign side is a public leaderboard. It ranks scouts by events and lists each one's username, referrals, Bits and uptime in days. The leaderboard page does not explain how Bits are calculated or what they are used for.
What a ranking would pay out is not given on the leaderboard page: it shows no reward amount for events, referrals or Bits. What it does state is the end of the program: according to a notice the app cites in Discord, the Scout program is winding down effective 5 March 2026.
The Chakra Scout leaderboard airdrop
The Scout page lists a leaderboard with events, referrals, Bits and uptime beside each username, and it names no reward, token, amount or claim process for those standings. Scouts were the people ranked, and the page does not say how anyone qualified for anything beyond appearing in the rankings. The program is winding down effective 5 March 2026.

Step 1: Open the Chakra Scout app
The Scout leaderboard and network stats were shown in the app at app.chakra.dev. It is also where the wind-down notice now appears.
Step 2: Take part as a scout

Step 3: Check your leaderboard standing
The leaderboard ranked scouts by events and listed username, referrals, Bits and uptime next to each rank. Referrals were counted as their own column.
Step 4: Note the wind-down date
The Scout program is winding down effective 5 March 2026, so the steps above describe how it worked while it ran.
