What is CyberKongz?
CyberKongz is an NFT brand and token ecosystem that its whitepaper calls a legacy brand in the NFT space. The project pioneered pairing ERC-721 NFTs with an ERC-20 token, BANANA, and has since revamped that token as KONG.
KONG is described as the token that represents the CyberKongz brand and powers the ecosystem. The whitepaper states that it is not a governance token and not a gaming token.

How CyberKongz works
The mechanism is staking. In the whitepaper's constant staking, every KONG staked earns 1 Kong Point (KP) per 24 hours. In dynamic staking, holders of a WSK Pass or a Genesis or Baby Kong earn external rewards on top, such as partner airdrops, whitelists for upcoming mints, validator rewards and FullPort Labs product benefits.
Rewards arrive in seasons. When a season ends, a KONG airdrop is distributed in proportion to the points accrued, which works as a variable APR. CyberKongz sets the seasons, which run between three and twelve months, and the amount released per season varies.
The seasonal pool comes from the 42% of supply held for future distribution. Each season, it is split 70% to Genesis and Evolutions holders and 30% to KONG stakers. Badges claimed in KongzHub can raise a holder's base allocation. The whitepaper adds that qualification criteria, timing and specific allocations are managed by the CyberKongz team.
