Install the DataHive extension or app, sign up with an email and earn DATA points by sharing anonymized data and completing missions on the dashboard.

What is DataHive?

DataHive is a data company that sources, creates and labels datasets in text, image, video and audio. Its homepage shows example datasets such as multilingual unscripted conversations, Arabic emotional speech across several dialects, and e-commerce listings and reviews, and companies can send a request for a custom dataset.

The data comes from a distributed group of contributors. People install the DataHive browser extension or the mobile app and share anonymized data such as web content you have scrolled, photos and videos, and the project says this helps train AI while the contributors are rewarded. DataHive states that it does not collect personal data or credentials.

Beyond passive sharing, contributors can take on missions on the DataHive dashboard, including recording speech and, through the Hive Calls app, talking with friends and family on calls. The project states that real conversations help build better AI.

How DataHive works

DataHive's extension and app run on a contributor's own device and fetch web content there. Each fetch counts as a job, and the volume of finished jobs sets the Data Points total. A second counter, Hive Points, works as an uptime tally: it rises with the hours the extension or app is running.

The dashboard adds missions on top of this. Its missions page lists audio recordings, paired voice conversations, a language test, a short survey, file uploads and a mission to delegate SOL to a DataHive validator. Each shows a points amount, for instance up to 50,000 points for a voice conversation mission and up to 5,000 points for staking SOL. The page says missions earn DATA points and real USD rewards.

The Hive Calls app is a further route: users call friends and family and earn DataHive points for those calls.

DataHive gives no launch date for the DATA token, no value per point and no conversion rate. The earn page lists a question about when the token launches, but its answer is not shown.

The DATA points airdrop

DataHive's points system pays DATA points for contributing anonymized data and finishing dashboard missions. Anyone who signs up with an email and keeps the extension or app online can earn, and missions add further points, up to 50,000 for a voice conversation mission. DataHive has not announced a token launch date or a points-to-token rate.

Step by step: how to get the DATA points airdrop

Stay safe: a real airdrop never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Use only the official links on this page, and treat any message that offers help with a claim as a scam.

  1. Step 1: Install the extension or app

Add the DataHive Chrome extension, or download the Android app from Google Play.

  2. Step 2: Sign up with your email

Start from the Start earning page and register an account with your email address, then open the dashboard.

  3. Step 3: Keep it online

Leave the extension or app running so it keeps earning.

  4. Step 4: Complete missions

Open the missions page and pick the ones that suit you, such as audio recordings, the survey or the SOL staking mission. Each lists its own points amount.

DataHive airdrop FAQ

Is the DataHive airdrop still live?

Yes. As of 28 October 2026, the DataHive dashboard missions page invites users to complete missions to earn DATA points, and the Start earning page tells people to install the extension and keep it online.

Does DataHive have a token?

DataHive refers to a DATA token: its missions page pays DATA points, and its earn page lists a question about when the DATA token launches. A February 2026 post also mentions a future DATA airdrop for SOL stakers. The project's site gives no launch date.

Does it cost anything to take part in DataHive?

No payment is needed. You install the extension or app, sign up with an email and keep it online. The staking mission asks you to delegate SOL to a DataHive validator, but it is one optional mission among others, so it is not required to earn points.

Does DataHive require KYC?

The Start earning page describes signing up with an email and does not mention an identity check. Some missions ask for other things, such as logging in to Amazon or sharing anonymized Apple Health data, and each mission describes its own requirement.

Which blockchain does DataHive use?

DataHive has not named a chain for the DATA token. The only blockchain on its missions page is Solana, where users can delegate SOL to the DataHive validator for extra points. Points are otherwise earned on the dashboard, extension and apps.
