What is Dolomite?
Dolomite is a lending and borrowing platform that its own site says can support over 1,000 unique assets. Users supply assets to earn yield and can borrow against more than 100 of them, with every position kept separate so a change in one leaves the others protected.
The app also includes Zap, a tool that routes swaps, looping, hedging and repayment through a single transaction inside a borrow position. The project's token set has three parts, DOLO, veDOLO and oDOLO. The app currently supports Ethereum, Arbitrum, Berachain, Mantle and X Layer.
How Dolomite works
Dolomite is a money market: users supply assets to earn yield and borrow against other assets, and each borrow position stays isolated from the rest. Zap lets a borrower swap, loop, hedge or repay inside a position in one transaction.
The DOLO airdrop was part of the DOLO token generation event and set aside 20% of the total token supply. Rewards for platform usage depended on the dollar value of assets supplied and borrowed and on how long they were supplied and borrowed, measured at a snapshot taken on January 6 at 0:00 UTC. Each usage reward was split evenly between DOLO and veDOLO, with the veDOLO half locked for two years and early unlocking carrying fees.
A further 10% went to Minerals holders as an option: they could buy DOLO at $0.045 during an exercise window. Both the claim window and the exercise window closed on 28 October 2025, after a one-week extension. Tokens nobody claimed were assigned to the Dolomite DAO Treasury.
The DOLO airdrop
The campaign paid DOLO, with half of each usage reward delivered as veDOLO locked for two years. The airdrop covered 20% of the total token supply. Qualifying meant supplying or borrowing assets on Dolomite before the January 6 snapshot, or holding Minerals earned by providing borrowable assets such as USDC, ETH or WBTC. It ended on 28 October 2025.
Step by step: how to get the DOLO airdrop
Kept for reference: this is how the campaign worked while it ran.
Stay safe: a real airdrop never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Use only the official links on this page, and treat any message that offers help with a claim as a scam.
Step 1: Use Dolomite before the snapshot
Eligibility came from supplying and borrowing assets in the Dolomite app, counted by dollar value and by time held, up to the snapshot on January 6 at 0:00 UTC.
Step 2: Earn Minerals by supplying borrowable assets
Minerals came from the Minerals Program, which rewarded providing key borrowable assets such as USDC, ETH or WBTC. Minerals holders qualified for the options airdrop.
Step 3: Open the Airdrop page and connect a wallet
The Airdrop page showed the DOLO claimable for the connected wallet, split into a usage airdrop and a Minerals airdrop.
Step 4: Claim DOLO or exercise the Minerals option
Usage rewards were claimed in DOLO and veDOLO. Minerals holders could buy DOLO at $0.045 in the exercise window. Both windows closed on 28 October 2025.
Step 5: Check the status on the docs page
The DOLO airdrop docs record the closure and the treatment of unclaimed tokens. As of 28 October 2026 the Airdrop page shows 0.00 DOLO claimable.
Dolomite airdrop FAQ
Is the Dolomite airdrop still live?
- No. As of 28 October 2026, the Dolomite docs say the DOLO airdrop claim window and the Minerals option exercise window both closed on 28 October 2025, after a one-week extension. The app's Airdrop page shows 0.00 DOLO claimable, and unclaimed tokens were assigned to the DAO Treasury.
Does Dolomite have a token?
- Yes. The token is DOLO, and the project also uses veDOLO and oDOLO. The airdrop was part of the DOLO token generation event and covered 20% of the total token supply, split between community contributions, platform usage and an options airdrop for Minerals holders.
Did you have to pay anything to join the Dolomite airdrop?
- Usage rewards required having supplied or borrowed assets on Dolomite before the snapshot, so qualifying meant putting assets into the protocol. Minerals holders who wanted DOLO had to buy it at $0.045 during the exercise window, which has closed.
How were Dolomite airdrop rewards calculated?
- Usage rewards followed the dollar value of assets supplied and borrowed and the time each was supplied or borrowed, as of a snapshot on January 6 at 0:00 UTC. Half arrived as DOLO and half as veDOLO, locked for two years, and Minerals holders received a separate option to buy DOLO.
Does the Dolomite airdrop require KYC?
- The eligibility criteria in the Dolomite docs rest on onchain activity: assets supplied, assets borrowed, Minerals earned and Dolomite XP level. They list no identity verification. Claiming happened by connecting a wallet on the app's Airdrop page, which is now closed.
