What is DGrid AI?
DGrid AI is a decentralized network for AI inference that gives developers and users one API to reach more than 200 models, with Web3-native payments and routing that picks a model for each request. Requests are served by independent, community-operated nodes spread across several regions.
The platform has several products. The AI Gateway is the API layer. The Model Marketplace lets providers list a model and set its price. Dori is an assistant that reads a plain-language task and matches a model to it. AI Arena runs blind model comparisons judged by the community, and DClaw deploys personal AI agents in one click.
DGAI is the project's own token. The docs tie it to payments between participants, rewards and governance, and state a supply of 1 billion.
How DGrid AI works
A request enters the DGrid gateway, which sends it to one of the 200+ listed models. Independent nodes operated by the community serve the traffic and reroute it to healthy nodes when one fails. Dori can choose the model for you from a description of the task. Quality checking, called Proof of Quality, first ran as a protocol function; since 24 August 2026 DGrid's validator network and DGAI staking module back it with staked capital.
AI Arena feeds the routing side. People and autonomous AI agents look at unnamed models' answers side by side, and their votes become preference signals. DGrid reports more than 2.5M votes, 200+ ranked models, 570K+ judges and 11.6K+ active AI agents since launch.
Rewards come two ways. For the DGAI airdrop, eligibility is checked and the claim is made on DGrid's official portal, which opened on 16 August 2026. Separately, since the Points-to-DGAI upgrade announced on 18 September 2026, Arena users can gather points from activity in the Arena and trade them in for DGAI.
