As of 27 October 2026, Etherscan's Points Beta page is up for the 10th Anniversary, offering Etherscan Points, a badge and perks that points can be redeemed for after signing in, such as the OG Badge and an API upgrade.
Etherscan Points is a 10th Anniversary campaign with points, a badge and perks like the OG Badge and an API upgrade. No token announced.
What is Etherscan?
Etherscan is a blockchain explorer for Ethereum. Its site lets visitors search addresses, tokens, name tags, domain names, labels and websites, and it shows the network's latest blocks and transactions as they arrive, along with the current ETH price and gas price.
Beyond search, Etherscan offers a set of tools for people who read onchain data: an API, a Gas Tracker, an Advanced Filter, a Token Flow Visualizer and an Input Data Decoder. Each address and token has its own page with balances and holdings, and contract and token pages carry a Source Code tab.
Etherscan also runs separate explorers for the Sepolia and Hoodi test networks, reachable from the same site next to Ethereum Mainnet.
How Etherscan works
Etherscan's home page lists the latest blocks and transactions of Ethereum Mainnet. Each block entry shows its number, its age, the fee recipient and the count of transactions it holds, and every transaction, address and token has a page of its own.
The Etherscan Points campaign sits on top of that product. Etherscan's Points Beta page describes it as a celebration of the 10th Anniversary: visitors earn Etherscan Points, receive an exclusive Etherscan Badge and complete tasks along the way. Signing in is what lets claimed points be redeemed.
Redemption happens on Etherscan itself, not as a token. The page lists perks that cost points: a customised address page, the OG Badge, a higher Ask Etherscan limit, one month of Pro API access, one-time priority support, more private name tags and more private notes on transactions.
Etherscan names no token, ticker, snapshot, closing date or per-task points amount. The Points Beta page describes only points, a badge and the redeemable perks.
The Etherscan Points airdrop
The campaign pays Etherscan Points and an Etherscan Badge, not a token, and Etherscan has not announced one. The Etherscan Points Beta page invites visitors to complete tasks and earn points and a badge, and it names no eligibility rules. Redeeming points for perks such as the OG Badge, an API upgrade or priority support requires signing in.
