Gradient Network airdrop step by step tutorial
The Gradient Network airdrop was the Sentry Node Open Beta, a rewards campaign that ran through Season 0 and Season 1 and is ended as of 2 November 2026. Taking part meant running a Sentry Node that stayed online and made successful Taps, with referral bonuses and achievement boosts adding more. The docs now say Sentry Nodes do not receive rewards, and the homepage and blog show no replacement campaign.
This airdrop has ended · checked 2 November 2026
As of 2 November 2026, the Gradient docs say the Sentry Node Open Beta has graduated, Seasons 0 and 1 are concluded, and Sentry Nodes do not receive rewards at the moment. The homepage and blog show no replacement points or rewards campaign.
Gradient Network's Sentry Node Open Beta rewarded uptime and Taps across Seasons 0 and 1. See how it worked and what the docs say now that it has ended.
What is Gradient Network?
Gradient Network is an open-intelligence project that says it is building open foundation models and the training and serving software around them.
Its homepage splits the work into training, serving and running models. Echo-2 is a distributed reinforcement learning framework that orchestrates unreliable GPUs. Parallax is a distributed LLM serving framework that pools GPUs and Apple Silicon machines into one platform, and it also exists as a way to run open source models locally. Gradient's chat app, powered by Parallax, answers from a swarm of personal machines rather than a central server.
How Gradient Network works
Gradient's Parallax serves a language model across many machines instead of one server. It forms a Swarm, a network of nodes in which each node holds specific segments of the model. A request travels through a chain of nodes chosen to cover the entire model: each node runs its share of the model's layers and hands its output to the next node until the answer is complete. Nodes talk to each other peer to peer.
The Sentry Node Open Beta was a separate rewards program for people who contributed to Gradient's decentralized compute infrastructure. Its rewards paid for staying online (uptime rewards, marked as to be phased out soon) and for successful Taps. A Tap is a peer-to-peer connection set up periodically between two random Sentry Nodes to check that they can reach each other, and its success rate depends on network factors such as NAT type. Referral bonuses and achievement boosts could add to the total.
Rewards were grouped into Seasons. Each season counted its own points, and they did not carry over to the next. The docs' rewards page gives no amounts, conversion rate or claim date for these points.
The Open Beta has now graduated, Seasons 0 and 1 are concluded, and the rewards page is kept for reference only.
The Sentry Node rewards points (Season 0 and Season 1) airdrop
The campaign counted rewards as points inside each season, and points from one season do not carry into another. Sentry Node operators earned them through uptime, successful Taps, referral bonuses and achievement boosts. The docs now list both seasons as concluded, and their rewards page gives no token, amount or claim date for turning the points into anything.
Step by step: how to get the Sentry Node rewards points (Season 0 and Season 1) airdrop
Kept for reference: this is how the campaign worked while it ran.
Stay safe: a real airdrop never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Use only the official links on this page, and treat any message that offers help with a claim as a scam.
Step 1: What the Sentry Node Open Beta involved
While the beta ran, participants operated Sentry Nodes that contributed to Gradient's decentralized compute infrastructure. The rewards page in the docs is kept as a reference for how this worked.
Step 2: Keep the node online for uptime rewards
Uptime rewards were paid for staying online. The docs mark them as to be phased out soon.
Step 3: Make successful Taps
Taps are peer-to-peer connections between two random Sentry Nodes that check connectivity. How often a Tap succeeds depends on network factors such as your NAT type.
Step 4: Add referral bonuses and achievement boosts
The rewards page lists referral bonuses and boosts earned by completing achievements as further ways to raise rewards.
Step 5: Check the status in the docs
The rewards page now states that the beta has graduated and Seasons 0 and 1 are concluded. It also says Sentry Nodes do not receive rewards at the current moment.
Gradient Network airdrop FAQ
Is the Gradient Network airdrop still live?
- No. As of 2 November 2026, the Gradient docs say the Sentry Node Open Beta has graduated, Seasons 0 and 1 are concluded, and Sentry Nodes do not receive rewards at the moment. The homepage and blog show no replacement points or rewards campaign, so a new visitor has no campaign to enter.
What did the Gradient Sentry Node campaign pay?
- It paid rewards counted as points within each season, and points are non-fungible across seasons. The docs' rewards page gives no token name, conversion rate or claim date for them, so what the points convert into is not stated there. The page is kept for reference only.
How were Gradient Sentry Node rewards earned?
- Rewards came from staying online (uptime rewards, to be phased out soon), from successful Taps between random Sentry Nodes, from referral bonuses, and from boosts for completing achievements. The docs also say the project takes action against Sybil and other harmful behaviors.
Does the Gradient Network airdrop cost anything or need KYC?
- The rewards page lists no payment, deposit or identity verification among the ways to earn rewards. Its earning methods were uptime, Taps, referrals and achievements. As of 2 November 2026 the campaign has ended, so none of this applies to a new sign-up.
Which chain does the Gradient Network airdrop run on?
- The docs' rewards page names no blockchain for the Sentry Node campaign. It describes the rewards as tied to contributing to Gradient's decentralized compute infrastructure, and the campaign has ended as of 2 November 2026.
