As of 1 November 2026, the Gyroscope homepage invites people to hold GYD or deposit in its pools, shows GYFI rewards per $1000 for each option, and links a Claim GYFI page. No page shows these rewards closed.

Earn GYFI by holding the GYD stablecoin or depositing in Gyroscope liquidity pools, with up to 106 GYFI per $1000 shown on the homepage.

What is Gyroscope?

Gyroscope is a DeFi protocol that operates liquidity pools and issues a stablecoin called GYD. Depositors can put funds into pools for volatile pairs, with ETH and BTC given as example markets, or into pools for stable assets that rely on asymmetric liquidity. The homepage lists typical swap fee APRs of 30-150% for the volatile pools and 10-30% for the stable ones.

GYD is the project's own stablecoin, which the homepage calls superliquid. Holding it without placing it in a pool is a third option the homepage presents, with a typical APR of 10-12% on stables.

The project also runs a documentation site with sections for audit reports, concentrated liquidity pools, governance, GYD and deployed contract addresses.

How Gyroscope works

Gyroscope pools hold pairs of assets that traders swap between, and depositors collect the swap fee APRs those pools pay. The project splits its pools into two kinds: volatile pairs, aimed at heavily traded markets, and stable pairs, which use asymmetric liquidity. GYD, the project's stablecoin, can also be held on its own outside any pool.

The GYFI campaign adds token rewards on top of these three activities. The homepage shows up to 8.22 GYFI per $1000 deposited in volatile pairs, up to 106 GYFI per $1000 deposited in stable pairs, and up to 82 GYFI per $1000 for holding naked GYD, meaning GYD that is not placed in a pool.

Each figure is a ceiling ("up to"), so the amount you receive can be lower. The homepage does not explain how the per-$1000 rate is calculated, and it gives no end date or snapshot date for the rewards. A Claim GYFI link in the site header leads to a separate claim page.

The GYFI airdrop

The campaign pays GYFI tokens to users of the Gyroscope app. You qualify by holding naked GYD (up to 82 GYFI per $1000), depositing in stable pairs (up to 106 GYFI per $1000) or depositing in volatile pairs (up to 8.22 GYFI per $1000). The homepage also links a Claim GYFI page, and it gives no end date for these rewards.

Step by step: how to get the GYFI airdrop

Stay safe: a real airdrop never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Use only the official links on this page, and treat any message that offers help with a claim as a scam.

  1. Step 1: Open the Gyroscope app

    Go to the Gyroscope app.

  2. Step 2: Choose how to earn GYFI

Pick one of the three routes shown on the homepage: holding GYD, stable pairs or volatile pairs.

  3. Step 3: Hold GYD or deposit into a pool

Hold GYD without placing it in a pool (the Use GYD page is where the homepage sends you for that), or deposit assets into the pool you chose. The GYFI amounts on the homepage are quoted per $1000 held or deposited.

  4. Step 4: Check the Claim GYFI page

Follow the Claim GYFI button in the header of the Gyroscope homepage to reach the project's claim page.

Gyroscope airdrop FAQ

Is the Gyroscope airdrop still live?

Yes. As of 1 November 2026, the Gyroscope homepage invites people to hold GYD or deposit in its pools and shows GYFI rewards per $1000 for each option. It also links a Claim GYFI page. No page shows these rewards closed, and the homepage gives no end date.

What token does the Gyroscope airdrop pay?

It pays GYFI. The homepage quotes GYFI amounts per $1000: up to 8.22 for volatile pairs, up to 106 for stable pairs, and up to 82 for holding naked GYD. These are maximums, so your own amount can be lower.

How do you earn GYFI from Gyroscope?

You earn GYFI by holding naked GYD, depositing in stable pairs, or depositing in volatile pairs. All three routes start in the Gyroscope app. The homepage gives the reward per $1000 for each route but does not describe how the rate is worked out.

Does the Gyroscope airdrop cost anything or need KYC?

It needs assets rather than just time, because you hold GYD or deposit into a pool. The homepage names no separate entry fee. It also does not mention identity verification for the GYFI rewards.
