What is Cables Finance?
Cables Finance is a platform that puts real-world assets such as gold, euros and yen onchain and lets holders stake them for yield through liquid staking. Holders keep and move these positions from their own wallets.
The project is also building a decentralized exchange for perpetual futures, so a staked position can be used while trading across FX, commodity and crypto markets in a single system.
The homepage additionally describes a marketplace for tokenized currencies and commodities.
How Cables Finance works
Cables turns a real-world asset into a liquid staking token that earns yield. According to the April 2025 announcement, those tokens can back perpetual futures positions without being unstaked first.
The Cables Points Program rewards activity on that platform. A March 2025 post said points would be earned through staking, liquidity provision and platform activity, with full details still to come. The homepage now lists staking, referrals and tier growth as the ways in.
The April 2025 announcement adds that points collected through early participation play a role in access, reward tiers and upcoming campaigns, and count toward eligibility for the airdrop and distribution phases. It also says 32% of the Genesis Distribution is allocated to the airdrop. It opened a whitelist for the program that asks for an email and an EVM wallet address. Neither a snapshot date, a claim date nor a per-user amount appears on the homepage.
