What is Drake?
Drake is a fully onchain perpetual futures exchange running on Monad mainnet. Drake runs matching and settlement in smart contracts on Monad, with no off-chain matching engine. The team behind it previously ran a hedge fund focused on arbitrage on centralized exchanges.
What sets it apart is how markets open. Drake pairs an onchain order book with a vault that anyone can fund, so a new market has quotes from its first trade. Any asset that the Pyth price feed publishes can get a market: the site lists crypto, gold, silver, crude oil, natural gas, stocks and indices.
Traders can use cross or isolated margin, with leverage up to 20×, set per market. Everything is settled in AUSD, and funds stay in the user's own wallet. Drake took first place in the Trading track of the Base Onchain Summer Buildathon 2024 and was a finalist at Monad Madness NYC 2024.
How Drake works
Drake gives each market two sources of liquidity. A market order goes to the order book first, and whatever the book cannot fill is taken by the DLP vault, all inside one transaction. The vault prices a little above and below the Pyth oracle price instead of following a bonding curve.
Anyone can deposit AUSD into the vault and receive dAUSD, a share of it. Depositors earn the spread and a part of the fees from the fills the vault serves, and they also sit on the other side of those trades, so the vault's value moves with them. When the vault is heavily used it offers less size: from 80% utilisation its quotes shrink, and at 95% it stops quoting and leaves the order book to carry the load. A withdrawal takes roughly three days.
On the rewards side, the Earn page tags the AUSD DLP Vault with "2x Points", and the app menu has Leaderboard and Rewards tabs. The Earn page does not say how points are earned, what they convert to, or when a season ends.

Step by step: how to get the Drake Exchange points airdrop
Stay safe: a real airdrop never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Use only the official links on this page, and treat any message that offers help with a claim as a scam.
Step 1: Open the Earn page
Go to the Drake Earn page and find the AUSD DLP Vault, which carries the "2x Points" tag.
Step 2: Connect a wallet
Connect your wallet on the app. The Earn page asks you to connect a wallet before it shows your positions and earnings.
Step 3: Deposit AUSD into the vault
Deposit AUSD into the vault and you receive dAUSD, a share of the vault. Read how the vault works in the Drake docs first, since the vault takes the other side of trades.
Step 4: Look at the Leaderboard and Rewards tabs
Open the Leaderboard and the Rewards tab from the app menu to see what they show.
Drake airdrop FAQ
Is the Drake airdrop still live?
- Yes, as of 1 November 2026 the Drake points program looks live. The Earn page tags the AUSD DLP Vault with "2x Points" but does not say how points are earned. Only the Rewards tab in the app menu carries a NEW mark; the Leaderboard tab does not. The page gives no end date.
Does Drake have an airdrop token?
- As of 1 November 2026, the Earn page shows a "2x Points" tag on the AUSD DLP Vault and names no reward token, ticker or amount for those points. dAUSD is the share of the vault you receive when you deposit AUSD, so it is a receipt for your deposit and not a reward.
How much do you have to put in to earn Drake points?
- Joining appears to require depositing AUSD into the DLP vault, so you need AUSD in your wallet. The deposit stays yours as dAUSD shares, but the vault takes the other side of trades and carries their volatility, so its value can move. Withdrawals settle by epoch, about three days.
Which chain does Drake run on?
- Drake runs on Monad. Its docs describe it as a fully onchain perpetual exchange live on Monad mainnet, and its site lists settlement in AUSD, onchain, on Monad. Funds stay in your own wallet.
Does the Drake airdrop need KYC?
- The Earn page shows no identity verification step, only a prompt to connect a wallet. It does restrict access by location: when it was checked, the page displayed a message that Drake Exchange is not available in the United States.
