What is Orbinum Network?
Orbinum Network is a privacy-focused blockchain built around a shielded pool. Transfers inside the pool keep the sender, the receiver and the amount out of view by using zero-knowledge proofs, and a holder can hand over a disclosure key to show one note to a person who needs to see it. The project's tagline is "Private by default. Provable on demand."
The chain is built on Substrate and includes a Frontier-based EVM, so Solidity contracts deploy without modification and wallets such as MetaMask or Rabby work with it. EVM and Substrate accounts share one balance derived from a single key, and the pool lets an EVM account send privately to a Substrate account.
Orbinum currently runs a public testnet with a faucet, a privacy explorer and a validator set. Mainnet has no announced date; the project lists code audits, a genesis ceremony and validator selection as the work ahead of it.
How Orbinum Network works
Orbinum's shielded pool has three public edges. Shielding moves a public balance into a private note. Moving value from one note to another leaves a nullifier and fresh commitments on-chain, and an observer cannot tie the two together. Unshielding turns a private note back into a public balance, which reveals the recipient and the amount. The proofs behind these steps are built in your browser and verified on-chain in the Substrate runtime.
Season 1 of the Genesis Community program rewards use of this flow before mainnet. Testnet quests cover shielding, sending, unshielding and disclosing. Social quests are recurring tasks each week across Discord, Telegram and X. Activity in consecutive weeks raises the credit bonus, and testnet use carries a multiplier. Inviting someone earns credits once that person joins and verifies. All of it earns ORB Credits, which convert to ORB at launch.
A Season 1 snapshot and the token generation event are listed among the mainnet tasks still in progress. Orbinum has not announced a date for either, an ORB supply, or the rate at which credits convert.

Step 3: Try the shielded pool
In the shielded pool, unlock your vault with one signature, then shield, send and unshield some testnet ORB.
Step 4: Join Season 1 in the Community area
Open the Community page and join Genesis Community Season 1 to start collecting ORB Credits.
Step 5: Complete quests and keep your streak
Work through the testnet quests and the weekly social tasks, and stay active each week to build your streak bonus.
