OptimAI Network OPI airdrop step by step tutorial

OptimAI Network pays OPI tokens to people who run an OptimAI node and share bandwidth, computing power or feedback with the network. Participation is open as of 28 October 2026: visitors can still download a node from the OptimAI site, and the Router launch post of 27 October 2026 says providers collect Points while serving AI models. No reward amount or claim date has been published.

As of 28 October 2026, the OptimAI homepage still invites visitors to download a node and earn OPI tokens, and the project's 27 October 2026 Router launch post says providers collect Points while serving.

Run an OptimAI node on desktop or CLI to earn OPI tokens for sharing bandwidth and computing power, plus Points when serving AI models through Router.

What is OptimAI Network?

OptimAI Network is a DePIN project built around AI: a decentralized network of nodes that scrape and validate data and supply bandwidth and computing power for GenAI agents. Its homepage describes an OP-Stack Layer2 blockchain paired with a community-driven Reinforcement Data Layer.

People join by running a node on their own device. The project offers a Desktop Core Node and a CLI Node for cloud resources, and it says the network already runs across web, mobile, desktop and CLI setups. Its stated aim is AI agents that learn from diverse data and adapt to new situations.

Other products listed by the project include OptimAI Search, Persona Agent and Router, which connects builders who need open models with people who serve them from their own computers. OPI is described as a utility asset for network rewards, service access, marketplace activity, campaigns, staking and governance.

How OptimAI Network works

Nodes do the work. Each node contributes a resource to the network, such as data scraping, data validation, edge computing or bandwidth sharing, and the project rewards that contribution with OPI tokens. The Desktop Core Node covers shared bandwidth, AI computing power and edge caching, while the CLI Node runs on cloud resources and produces recurring token rewards.

Router, announced on 27 October 2026, adds a second way in. Builders call open models through one API, and a provider's computer generates the answer. Providers set this up inside Core Node, as step 4 lays out, and serving is opt-in.

Completed requests earn credits, and providers also collect Points while serving. For now, credits cannot be cashed out or paid as tokens. OptimAI has not said what Points will be exchanged for, and it has set no snapshot, claim window or total OPI amount.

The OPI airdrop

The campaign pays OPI tokens to people who run an OptimAI node and contribute bandwidth, computing power, data validation or feedback. Taking part starts with downloading a node on a supported device. Providers who serve AI models through Router also collect Points. The project has set no payout figure, snapshot or claim window.

Step by step: how to get the OPI airdrop

Stay safe: a real airdrop never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Use only the official links on this page, and treat any message that offers help with a claim as a scam.

  1. Step 1: Open the OptimAI node download page

Go to the OptimAI node download page, which the project's homepage links from its Download Node button.

  2. Step 2: Choose a node type

Pick the Desktop Core Node to share internet bandwidth, AI computing power and edge caching, or the CLI Node to earn recurring token rewards from cloud resources.

  3. Step 3: Install the node

Install the node on your device. It then contributes resources to the network, and the project ties OPI rewards to that contribution.

  4. Step 4: Optionally set up Router serving in Core Node

In Core Node, Router first inspects your computer, and you then pick a model your hardware can handle; Router runs a brief local test to confirm it responds. Router proposes a starting price that you can accept or replace. Press Start serving to begin, and stop whenever you like.

OptimAI Network airdrop FAQ

Is the OptimAI Network airdrop still live?

Yes. As of 28 October 2026 the OptimAI homepage still invites visitors to download a node and earn OPI tokens, and a 27 October 2026 post says Router providers collect Points while serving. Neither gives a closing date for the rewards.

Does OptimAI Network have a token?

Yes. The project's homepage says contributors earn OPI tokens, and a project post describes OPI as a utility asset for network rewards, service access, marketplace activity, campaigns, staking and governance. A total supply, launch date and exchange listing have not been announced.

Does running an OptimAI node cost anything?

You need a device and time. The Desktop Core Node and CLI Node are downloaded from the project's node page, and rewards come from sharing bandwidth, computing power or cloud resources. The project mentions no purchase or deposit to start.

Can OptimAI credits or Points be withdrawn?

Not yet. Per the 27 October 2026 Router post, credits have no cash-out or token option at the moment. Providers earn credits for completed requests and collect Points while serving, and the project has not said how Points will be turned into rewards.
