What is Ankr?
Ankr is a Web3 infrastructure company. Its products include a Web3 API that gives developers RPC access to many blockchains, rollup and sidechain creation as a service, and liquid staking for several Proof-of-Stake tokens. It also serves enterprise customers with infrastructure and engineering services.
Ankr runs a Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) of nodes, with bare-metal servers in more than 30 regions around the world. Chains such as Polygon use Ankr for global RPC nodes and liquid staking.
Ankr Forge is the rewards program built around the ANKR token. Holding ANKR and finishing tasks set by partner projects earns points inside it.
How Ankr works
Ankr's core products are infrastructure. Developers connect apps to blockchains through Ankr's node network, which is designed to give clients the shortest roundtrip path for their RPC requests. In staking, you deposit crypto and receive a liquid staking token such as ankrETH, a token that tracks your stake together with the rewards it has gathered and can be used much like the original asset.
Ankr Forge adds a points layer. Forge Points come from three activities: keeping ANKR in a wallet, finishing missions across partner ecosystems, and entering partner campaigns. ANKR in the wallet decides eligibility, while the points themselves come from missions.
A Heat is a round of about three months with a fresh leaderboard where everyone begins at zero. Several Forge Drops fall inside each Heat. When a Drop's snapshot is taken, each eligible wallet's share depends on its points from that Heat. Heat 1 has finished and its standings stay on record, while Heat 2 is running now, opened by the Kite campaign.
Partner campaigns have their own start and end dates, and once one closes, its missions stop paying points. Ankr has not announced an amount or a date for the next Forge Drop. Forge Vault and ValidatorFi are listed as planned additions.
The Forge Points airdrop
Ankr Forge pays Forge Points, which count toward Forge Drops and TGE allocations from partner projects. Holding ANKR makes a wallet eligible for a Drop, and the points earned in the current Heat set its share. Points come from holding ANKR, completing missions such as on-chain transactions, bridging and app use, and joining partner campaigns like Kite. Ankr has not announced Drop amounts.
Step by step: how to get the Forge Points airdrop
Stay safe: a real airdrop never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Use only the official links on this page, and treat any message that offers help with a claim as a scam.
Step 1: Read how Forge works
Start with the Ankr Forge overview, which explains Heats, Forge Points and Forge Drops.
Step 2: Enter the Forge
Open the Ankr Forge page from the Ankr site and set up your account there.
Step 3: Hold ANKR to qualify a wallet
Holding ANKR determines whether your wallet is eligible for a Forge Drop, and it also earns points passively.
Step 4: Complete missions in the Kite campaign
Heat 2 opened with a Kite campaign. Its missions sit next to the standing Ankr missions, and each one closes when its campaign ends. Missions include on-chain transactions, asset bridging and app interactions.
Step 5: Keep earning through the Heat
Your Forge Points in the current Heat set your share of that Heat's Forge Drops, so missions completed before each Drop snapshot count.
Ankr airdrop FAQ
Is the Ankr airdrop still live?
- Yes. As of 28 October 2026, the Ankr Forge docs say Heat 2 is live now with the Kite campaign. Heat 1 is complete and its leaderboard is preserved. Missions can be completed only while their campaign is live, so each partner campaign closes on its own schedule.
Does Ankr have a token?
- Yes. Ankr Forge is built around the ANKR token, and holding it determines whether a wallet is eligible for a Forge Drop. Forge Points, which missions pay, count toward Forge Drops and TGE allocations from partner projects. Ankr has not announced an amount or a date for the next Forge Drop.
Does Ankr Forge cost anything or need KYC?
- Missions involve on-chain transactions, asset bridging and app interactions, and Ankr lists no fee amount for them. A wallet has to hold ANKR to be eligible for a Forge Drop, and Ankr has not published a minimum amount. Ankr describes no identity verification for Forge.
How do you earn Forge Points?
- There are three ways: hold ANKR to earn passively, complete missions across partner ecosystems, and join partner campaigns inside Forge. Points earned in a Heat decide your share of that Heat's Drops. Points for a campaign's missions can no longer be claimed once that campaign ends.
