What is Particle Network?

Particle Network is a chain abstraction project that aims to fix the split of users and liquidity across Web3. Its Universal Accounts give users one account and one balance across all chains, and its homepage also offers account abstraction and social logins for app developers.

The products are aimed at developers who want an app to accept assets from any chain. The Universal Accounts SDK is public, and the project's blog states that its chain abstraction solutions are 100% free for developers and teams.

The Particle Chain coordinates cross-chain transactions inside Universal Accounts and was announced as launching on Avalanche's tech stack. PARTI is the native token tied to that chain, and UniversalX is the trading app where users could trade and later claim the airdrop.

How Particle Network works

Universal Accounts rely on a network of smart accounts that live on every supported chain at once. They aggregate a user's tokens across those chains, so the user can act on any supported chain without bridging, and common tokens such as BNB, SOL, USDT, USDC and ETH can cover gas.

The campaign began with the Particle Pioneer testnet, which offered Universal Accounts and Universal Gas. Users deposited free testnet assets, which were converted to USDG (Universal Gas), and earned PARTI points for inviting friends, a daily check-in transaction, depositing Universal Gas and transacting with it, up to 100 times a day. Holding ALLY or CAPYBARA NFTs on the Owner Address earned boosts, and the guide said new tasks would keep being added.

The PARTI airdrop followed. It distributed 9% of the total PARTI supply in one go to the wallets and accounts of several campaigns: UniversalX Season 0 traders, Particle Pioneer testnet users, The People's Launchpad participants, ALLY holders, CAPYBARA NFT holders and historical Particle Wallet or BTC Connect users. Claims were made on UniversalX with gas fees sponsored by Particle Network, and the guide gave April 30 as the deadline.

Step by step: how to get the PARTI airdrop

Kept for reference: this is how the campaign worked while it ran.

Stay safe: a real airdrop never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Use only the official links on this page, and treat any message that offers help with a claim as a scam.

  1. Step 1: Join Particle Pioneer with a wallet or social account

The testnet guide told users to click JOIN NOW on Particle Pioneer and connect through a social account, Web3 wallet or native Bitcoin wallet, which generated a Universal Account.

  2. Step 2: Enter an invite code and link X and Discord

The platform asked for an invite code from a friend or an official channel, then for connected X and Discord accounts to finish registration.

  3. Step 3: Deposit free testnet assets for Universal Gas

Testnet tokens from public faucets were deposited and converted to USDG, which paid gas on any connected chain and earned the first points.

  4. Step 4: Earn PARTI points with the daily tasks

Points came from invites, a daily check-in transaction, depositing Universal Gas and transacting with it. NFT and ALLY boosts could be minted on the Booster page.

  5. Step 5: Claim PARTI on UniversalX

The airdrop claiming guide had users log into UniversalX, link earlier campaign accounts, view their allocation and start the claim, with the deadline given as April 30.
