What is Ponder?
Ponder is a comparison engine for Web3 that puts rates and options for services such as swapping, staking and bridging in one interface, so users do not have to browse many platforms one by one. Its homepage says it simplifies Web3 and that its AI analyses, compares and executes options for the user.
The July 2024 launch release says development began in 2023 and that the Beta had over 20 networks integrated, including Ethereum, Avalanche, Linea, Scroll and Arbitrum. The release describes an off-chain AI model based on Llama3 and Mistral, an engine meant to bring EVM and non-EVM chains together, and a design that keeps no user data.
How Ponder works
Ponder's engine links different blockchain types through a single shared framework, which the project says is meant to deal with liquidity being split across chains. An off-chain AI model based on Llama3 and Mistral looks for the best opportunities, and users compare providers in one interface before choosing. The Beta launch covered swap and bridge rate comparison across popular chains.
The homepage banner for the current airdrop shows a $10,000 pool and a "Join now" button to the airdrop page in the Ponder app. The banner does not give the rules, an end date, the payout asset or a claim process.
The earlier Community Race Airdrop, announced in July 2024 with a $15,000 prize pool, ran with five partners: Lumia, Swing, Quickswap, Hybrid and Everclear. Points came from three kinds of activity: social media tasks, activity on the platform and daily rewards, and the most active participants climbed the leaderboard. Each participant chose a partner team, and supporters of the winning team received extra prizes.
The July 2024 release lists a TGE among the releases planned for 2024, and the homepage roadmap lists a TGE as well. Neither page names a token.
