What is SkyTrade?

SkyTrade is software that lets a city track drone activity, handle permits for drone sites and turn unused property rights into revenue, all in one product. Its buyers are public bodies and owners of sensitive sites.

The product sits alongside FAA rules rather than replacing them. A local ruling on how a parcel may be used does not set flight paths or altitudes, and the software serves the city's own workflows and records.

Alongside the municipal product, SkyTrade runs a separate Genesis site where holders of SkyTrade Genesis NFTs can stake them to earn Sky Points.

How SkyTrade works

The core product is software for local governments. Permit applications and related records are handled as software workflows, and SkyTrade sells further modules for detection, patrol-drone security and air rights on top of that base.

The Genesis campaign is a separate staking program. A holder connects a wallet on the Genesis site and stakes SkyTrade Genesis NFTs there. Sky Points build up while the NFTs stay staked, so a longer stake earns more points. The Genesis site also says staking unlocks special benefits and early access to future drops, without saying what those are.

Sky Points are the only reward with a name. SkyTrade has announced no token, no ticker, no rate for turning points into anything else, no season length and no end date for the points. The main SkyTrade site, which now centers on municipal drone governance, does not mention the program.

The Sky Points airdrop

The campaign pays Sky Points, not a token: SkyTrade has announced no token for it. Holders of SkyTrade Genesis NFTs qualify by staking them on the Genesis site, and the longer an NFT stays staked, the more points it earns. No points amount, snapshot or claim date has been published.

Step by step: how to get the Sky Points airdrop

Stay safe: a real airdrop never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Use only the official links on this page, and treat any message that offers help with a claim as a scam.

  1. Step 1: Hold a SkyTrade Genesis NFT

Staking applies to SkyTrade Genesis NFTs, so the wallet you use needs to hold one. The Genesis site points people without an NFT to the skytrade_genesis collection on MagicEden to buy one.

  2. Step 2: Connect your wallet on the Genesis site

Open the SkyTrade Genesis site and connect the wallet that holds your NFT.

  3. Step 3: Stake your Genesis NFTs

Stake the NFTs from the connected wallet on the Genesis site so they start earning Sky Points.

  4. Step 4: Keep them staked to build Sky Points

Points grow the longer an NFT stays staked. Follow SkyTrade on X for any update on the program.
