What is Yield Guild Games?
Yield Guild Games (YGG) is a Web3 guild that now describes itself as a network connecting real people with economic opportunities in the AI economy. Its homepage calls it the world’s original Web3 guild, now powering frontier AI, and offers AI teams access to its community for human feedback, model evaluation and data collection.
YGG 3.0 sets out the Guild Protocol, an open and modular framework for organizing skill, effort and capital. It is built from three parts: guilds, assets and activities, with YGG acting as the central hub that supplies infrastructure, capital allocation and governance frameworks.
Its other products include AI Alerts, a platform where Filipinos find earning opportunities in AI, and vibecode.game, a site for discovering and ranking vibe-coded games that YGG launched in June 2026.
How Yield Guild Games works
Yield Guild Games works as a guild network. Under the Guild Protocol, people form guilds, resources are tracked as assets, and the quests and tasks guilds complete are recorded as activities, which build a record of contributions, skill and achievement. In its AI work, YGG manages community reach and distribution while project partners keep direct control over screening and workflow integration.
Community Questing was the quest program of YGG Play, YGG's publishing arm. It launched in August 2025, onboarded more than 24,000 users and retired on 31 July 2026 together with the platform. YGG's Q2 2026 Community Update gives no reward amount, snapshot date or claim date for Community Questing.
The same update does describe one conversion: remaining balances in LOL Land and Waifu Sweeper were snapshotted for conversion to YGG. That applies to those two games, and the update does not say Community Questing participants received YGG.
