What is AGDEX?
AGDEX is a decentralized perpetual exchange that runs on Aptos. It lets traders open leveraged positions, with leverage of up to 100x, straight from a Web3 wallet or a social login, and it describes the experience as similar to a centralized exchange while staying DeFi at heart.
Trading is self-custodial: the homepage says trades are executed from your own wallet, so you keep your keys. The exchange pitches low gas fees on Aptos, minimal spread and low price impact when entering and exiting positions, and a layout that works on desktop and mobile.
Its markets rest on what it calls Synthetic Architecture, which the homepage says supports a wide range of trading pairs, with more pairs still to come. On the liquidity side, AGDEX's own Medium posts present AGLP and its liquidity pools as the heart of the exchange.
How AGDEX works
AGDEX works as a perpetual exchange on Aptos: you connect a wallet or sign in socially, then open a leveraged position on one of its trading pairs. AGDEX's Medium series describes AGLP and its liquidity pools as the heart of the exchange.
Rewards come through two routes. The AGPoints page says you earn 1 point daily for every $1 worth of AGLP you hold, and it tracks individual and team rankings.
The second route is the Trading Campaign, now in Season 4. Its page carries a leaderboard with tabs for Trading Volume, PnL and Liquidation, and a table with AGPoints Rewards and APT Rewards columns. Total rewards for the season are 1,300 APT and 1,000,000 AGPoints, and the page showed 4,178 trades and a total volume of 11,246,961.47 at the check.
The Trading Campaign page gives no end date for Season 4 and no claim instructions, so check it for updates.
The AGPoints airdrop
The campaign pays AGPoints and APT. Season 4 of the Trading Campaign lists 1,300 APT and 1,000,000 AGPoints in total rewards, with a leaderboard built on trading activity. Separately, holding AGLP earns 1 AGPoints point per day for every $1 held. You qualify by trading on AGDEX or by holding AGLP, and the campaign page gives no end date.
