Bitcoin Quantum airdrops

Bitcoin Quantum is a proof-of-work chain that keeps Bitcoin's design but signs transactions with quantum-resistant cryptography. This hub lists the airdrops that run on Bitcoin Quantum, each with a dated status, the project's official links and its steps. As of 29 October 2026, the chain's own site shows its testnet live and its mainnet as upcoming, so read each listing's status before joining.

About Bitcoin Quantum

Bitcoin Quantum airdrops: campaigns that run on this post-quantum Bitcoin chain, each with a dated status, official links and steps.

Bitcoin Quantum is a Bitcoin-based chain that swaps the cryptography under ordinary Bitcoin for post-quantum primitives while keeping its supply schedule, proof-of-work consensus and peer-to-peer architecture. Dilithium (ML-DSA, NIST FIPS 204) signatures replace ECDSA, and BIP-360 P2MR receive addresses keep the public key hidden until the output is spent. Its public testnet is live, and its site lists mainnet as the next phase.

Bitcoin Quantum airdrops FAQ

What is Bitcoin Quantum?

Bitcoin Quantum is a chain that keeps Bitcoin's supply schedule, proof-of-work consensus and peer-to-peer architecture but replaces the cryptography underneath with primitives its site describes as resistant to quantum attack. Its aim is to protect funds against a future quantum computer that could break the elliptic-curve signatures used by ordinary Bitcoin wallets.

Is the Bitcoin Quantum testnet live?

Yes, as of 29 October 2026 the project's site marks its public testnet (phase 02 of four) as live now. The same roadmap lists the specification as complete, mainnet as upcoming and ecosystem integrations such as exchange and custody support as planned. The testnet includes reference wallets and third-party security audits.

Which signature scheme does Bitcoin Quantum use?

Bitcoin Quantum uses CRYSTALS-Dilithium (ML-DSA, NIST FIPS 204) signatures in place of ECDSA. Its receive addresses follow BIP-360 Pay-to-Merkle-Root (P2MR), which puts only a Merkle root on-chain, so the public key stays hidden until the output is spent. The site also says the design is ready to adopt new NIST post-quantum standards.

How do you mine on the Bitcoin Quantum testnet?

You download the latest testnet release for your platform, configure the node by following the project's mining guide, then create a Dilithium wallet, connect to the pool and mine. The site describes the same SHA-256 proof-of-work that Bitcoin miners already know, and says miners earn testnet BTQ. Binaries exist for Windows and Linux, with macOS built from source.
