Cysic CYS airdrop step by step tutorial
The Cysic airdrop is a CYS token claim, tied to an NFT-to-CYS redemption for NFT holders and to rewards earned on the project's testnet. On 27 October 2026 the claim is still on offer: Cysic's site shows a claim button for the redemption, unlocking 50% of the tokens at TGE and the other 50% linearly over 6 months. The site does not say which NFTs qualify. Taking part means using that claim button.

As of 27 October 2026, Cysic's own site offers a "claim CYS" button for NFT-to-CYS redemption, with 50% unlocked at TGE and the other 50% vesting linearly over 6 months. Cysic has not published a closing date for the claim or for the earlier testnet rewards.

What is Cysic?
Cysic is a compute network that pairs its own chips and servers with an on-chain marketplace, meant for AI whose results can be checked, for ZK proof work and for markets that trade computing power. Its docs describe it as a layer-1 blockchain built with Cosmos CDK, where a marketplace matches people who need computation with people who supply it.
Contributors can range from the owner of one desktop GPU to an operator running many ASIC miners, while demand comes from individuals, apps and companies that need work done. The network's product layer currently holds a ZK proof market, an AI inference framework and a crypto mining framework, and the project also lists its own hardware: ZK ASIC chips, GPU servers and mining rigs.
Cysic combines its own hardware with an on-chain network. The company announced a $12 million pre-A funding round led by HashKey Capital and OKX Ventures, aimed at speeding up ZK proof generation.
How Cysic works
Cysic Network works as a marketplace for computing jobs. Requesters post work, providers bid to carry it out, independent verifiers check the result, and the payout and the record of the job live on the Cysic blockchain. A ZK proof task is the worked example in the project's docs.
Its consensus method, Proof-of-Compute, extends CometBFT by counting computation contributed to the system alongside staked tokens.
Two routes to CYS are described. One route was the testnet: participants earned test versions of CYS and CGT by working as a verifier or prover, and Cysic stated that holders of those testnet tokens would be able to claim an airdrop at a conversion ratio after TGE. Another is the NFT redemption shown on the homepage, which pays CYS with 50% unlocked at TGE and 50% unlocking linearly over 6 months.
Cysic has not published a TGE date, the conversion ratio for testnet tokens, or an end date for the claim.
The CYS airdrop
The campaign pays CYS, Cysic's network token. NFT holders can redeem their NFTs for CYS, with 50% unlocked at TGE and the other 50% unlocking linearly over 6 months. Earlier participants who earned testnet tokens as verifiers or provers were told they could claim an airdrop at a conversion ratio after TGE. Cysic has not published the ratio or a deadline.
Step by step: how to get the CYS airdrop
Stay safe: a real airdrop never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Use only the official links on this page, and treat any message that offers help with a claim as a scam.
Step 1: Open the Cysic homepage
Go to the Cysic homepage and find the NFT-to-CYS redemption section with its "claim CYS" button.
Step 2: Check the unlock schedule
The redemption unlocks 50% of the CYS at TGE and the remaining 50% linearly over 6 months, so the full amount is not available at once.
Step 3: Claim your CYS as an NFT holder
The redemption is for NFT holders, and the homepage does not say which NFTs qualify, so holding qualifying NFTs is a precondition. If you hold them, use the "claim CYS" button on the homepage to start. The homepage mentions no identity check or fee for the claim, and Cysic has not published a closing date.
Step 4: Read how contributors earn on the network
The Cysic docs explain the roles of compute contributors, requesters and verifiers. Contributors enrol their machines, take on jobs and are paid once the results are verified.
Step 5: Note the app link in the blog navigation
The Cysic blog's navigation links to the Cysic app under the label "Start earning with your device". Cysic does not say whether using the app affects the CYS claim.
Cysic airdrop FAQ
Is the Cysic airdrop still live?
- Yes, as of 27 October 2026. Cysic's site offers a "claim CYS" button for NFT-to-CYS redemption, with 50% unlocked at TGE and 50% unlocking over 6 months. Cysic has not published a closing date for the claim or for the earlier testnet rewards.
Does Cysic have a token?
- Yes. Cysic's network token is CYS, and the homepage offers a claim for it through NFT redemption. Cysic's testnet announcement said CYS is used for transactions and gas fees. It also described a second, non-transferable token, CGT, used mainly for governance and voting.
Which chain does Cysic run on?
- Cysic runs on its own network. The docs describe Cysic Network as a layer-1 blockchain built with Cosmos CDK, using a Proof-of-Compute consensus based on CometBFT. The project has not named a separate chain for the CYS claim.
How are Cysic rewards earned?
- Through the NFT redemption on the homepage, or through network work. During the testnet, participants earned CYS and CGT test tokens by completing tasks as a verifier or prover. Holders of those testnet tokens were told they could claim an airdrop at a conversion ratio after TGE.
Do you need hardware to take part in Cysic?
- For the NFT claim, the homepage mentions no hardware. For earning on the network, the docs say contributors can use hardware ranging from one consumer GPU to large ASIC installations, and verifier work during the testnet needed only minimal resources.
