What is De.Fi?

De.Fi is a DeFi portfolio tracker and crypto security platform that presents itself as a Web3 AI SuperApp. Its homepage says it provides unified data for the most popular DeFi protocols through an interface or an API, and its docs describe a mission of making DeFi accessible to everyone and investing in it safer.

The product is a dashboard for managing assets and their risks, a security toolkit (the Shield feature, a smart contract Scanner and an impermanent loss calculator), and two archives: an Audit Database that collects audits from all auditors and a Rekt Database that records protocol hacks and exploits. The community it describes ranges from professional investors and traders to newcomers.

The DEFI token ties into the platform. Holders can vote on proposals put forward by the community and use other platform features, such as staking, fee removal, product discounts and a launchpad.

How De.Fi works

De.Fi's dashboard lets a user manage assets while seeing the risks attached to them. Alongside it sit the security toolkit (Shield, the smart contract Scanner and the impermanent loss calculator) and the Audit and Rekt databases, which hold audit reports and a record of hacks on the chains the platform supports.

DEFI Airdrop Season 1 rewarded accounts by a snapshot at 1 PM UTC on 7 February, ahead of the announcement dated 15 February 2024. The 3,800,000 DEFI were split between two categories, SocialFi and Diamond Hands. The De.Fi SocialFi category ranked community members on a leaderboard of 8 tiers. The Diamond Hands category covered DEFI stakers, who needed at least 750 DEFI staked and were placed in 6 tiers, plus the top referrals from the De.Fi 2.0 public sale and active contributors.

Extra rewards went to active SocialFi users and to stakers, including those who had staked for at least one year. Claiming ran from 15 February 2024 to 7 March 2024: an eligible user connected a wallet to the claim page, checked eligibility, then claimed and could stake. The announcement says more seasons will come, and it gives no date or amount for them.

The DEFI airdrop

Season 1 paid 3,800,000 DEFI tokens, drawn from the 3% of maximum supply set aside for early adopters and supporters. Qualifying accounts were De.Fi SocialFi users placed in one of 8 leaderboard tiers, DEFI stakers with at least 750 DEFI staked in one of 6 tiers, and top De.Fi 2.0 referrals and active contributors. Collecting the reward meant linking a wallet on the single claim page De.Fi named in its announcement.

Step by step: how to get the DEFI airdrop

Kept for reference: this is how the campaign worked while it ran.

Stay safe: a real airdrop never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Use only the official links on this page, and treat any message that offers help with a claim as a scam.

  1. Step 1: Check the restricted regions list

The announcement lists restricted regions, including the United States of America and its territories and the People's Republic of China. Read the full list in the announcement.

  2. Step 2: Build a SocialFi or staking record

Season 1 ranked users on the De.Fi SocialFi leaderboard, and also counted DEFI stakers holding at least 750 DEFI and top De.Fi 2.0 referrals. The announcement lists each group.

  3. Step 3: Qualify before the snapshot

Eligibility was fixed by a snapshot at 1 PM UTC on 7 February, ahead of the announcement dated 15 February 2024. Staking for longer, at least one year, earned additional rewards.

  4. Step 4: Open the single official claim page

De.Fi named one official page for the claim on its own domain, as set out in the announcement.

  5. Step 5: Connect a wallet and check eligibility

Connecting a wallet showed whether the SocialFi or Diamond Hands reward applied to the address. Eligible users could then claim, within the three weeks from 15 February to 7 March 2024.

  6. Step 6: Optionally stake the claimed DEFI

The announcement says staking Season 1 DEFI raises the chance of qualifying for later airdrop seasons. Claiming itself is closed as of 1 November 2026.
