What is Ostium?
Ostium is a leveraged trading platform for Real World Assets. Its April 2025 press release says users can go long or short on stocks, commodities, indices and currencies, and gives the Nasdaq, Gold and Oil as example markets.
The release also says Ostium's founders are alumni of Harvard, Bridgewater and BlackRock, and it names General Catalyst and Alliance DAO among the investors backing the project.
The app states that its products cannot be accessed from a restricted jurisdiction, so availability depends on where you are.
How Ostium works
Ostium lets you take leveraged long or short positions on real world markets, such as stocks, commodities, indices and currencies, directly onchain. Traders open positions in the app, and the points page lists staking LP as another way to earn scores.
Rewards in the campaign come from that activity. Your weekly trading score and weekly LP score grow as you trade, refer and stake LP, and at the end of each week the scores are compiled into points. The April 2025 release describes two score types, Trading/Referral and Liquidity Provision, which combine into a single points total, and says scores convert at midnight UTC every Sunday based on relative participation. Scores then reset to zero for the new week.
The program began on March 31, 2025, with 10 million points allocated retroactively to early adopters, and the release set 500,000 points to be distributed weekly, a figure it said could increase. Season 2 is the current season, and the points page shows the next conversion on November 2.
The Ostium Points airdrop
The Ostium Points Program pays points. Anyone who can use the app earns weekly trading and LP scores by trading, referring other traders or staking LP, and those scores convert into points at each weekly conversion. Season 2 is running, and weekly leaderboards rank participants by both score types.
Step by step: how to get the Ostium Points airdrop
Stay safe: a real airdrop never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Use only the official links on this page, and treat any message that offers help with a claim as a scam.
Step 1: Open the Ostium app and log in
Go to the Ostium app and use Log in or Sign up. Check first that your location is not a restricted jurisdiction, since the app blocks those.
Step 2: Review your standing on the points page
Open the points page to see the current week, your weekly trading and LP scores, the next conversion date and the leaderboards.
Step 3: Trade a market to build a trading score
Open a long or short position from the trade page. Trading activity feeds your weekly trading score.
Step 4: Stake LP to build a liquidity score
Stake LP to build your weekly LP score, which the points page tracks separately from your trading score.
Step 5: Check your scores after each weekly conversion
Return to the points page after the weekly conversion to see your scores compiled into points and your place on the leaderboards.

Do you need to spend money to earn Ostium points?
- Earning points means trading or staking LP, so you need funds in the app to open positions or supply liquidity, and trading carries risk. The points page does not list any separate entry fee for the campaign.
Does the Ostium airdrop need KYC?
- The points page shows no identity check; the app offers Log in and Sign up. It does state that you cannot access its products from a restricted jurisdiction, so your location can block you from using the app and earning points.
