What is Pharos?
Pharos is a high-performance, EVM-compatible layer 1 blockchain built for real-world assets (RWAs), as its testnet onboarding guide describes it. Its homepage presents the network as infrastructure for applications, institutions and increasingly autonomous agents to move and settle value onchain.
The documentation describes a modular, full-stack parallel L1 split into three layers: L1-Base, L1-Core and L1-Extension. Developers, institutions and agent builders each get their own entry point on the homepage.
Pharos has also announced funding: a news item dated 8 April 2026 reports a $44M Series A round that brought total funding to $52M. Its mainnet, called Pacific Ocean, was announced as launched on 28 April 2026.
How Pharos works
Pharos runs a parallel-execution, EVM-compatible chain. Its docs say the L1-Core layer is a globally distributed network of decentralized nodes, and the homepage lists parallel execution, an async pipeline and EVM compatibility among the features already running on mainnet.
The campaign ran on the Pharos testnet. A user connected a wallet, claimed testnet tokens (up to 0.2 every 24 hours through the official faucet), and used them for onchain tasks. PHRS is named as the gas token for testnet transactions. Social tasks needed a linked X account, and the guide adds that a daily check-in could push a user to the next level.
The airdrop itself was claimed on a separate claim site. It lists four eligible groups: testnet participants, "Stake Before the Stake" contributors, Pharos Discord role holders and OKX Wallet campaign users. Allocations from several groups are consolidated into a single claim, and a user who picked no claim strategy before the window closed defaulted to Instant Claim.
The claim site gives no allocation formula, token name or amount. The resources page lists a post on PROS tokenomics dated 20 April 2026, but the claim site does not say the airdrop pays that token.
The PROS airdrop
The claim site lists four eligible groups: testnet participants, "Stake Before the Stake" contributors, Pharos Discord role holders and OKX Wallet campaign users. Allocations from several groups combine into one claim, and an unchosen claim strategy defaults to Instant Claim. The claim site gives no token name or amount, and its window shows "Claim Ended" as of 1 November 2026.
Step by step: how to get the PROS airdrop
Kept for reference: this is how the campaign worked while it ran.
Stay safe: a real airdrop never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Use only the official links on this page, and treat any message that offers help with a claim as a scam.
Step 1: Join the Pharos testnet with a wallet
The testnet onboarding guide says OKX wallet users press Connect Wallet, while other EVM wallets add the testnet manually. Connecting a wallet is how testnet tokens were claimed.
Step 2: Complete testnet tasks
The guide lists onchain tasks, social tasks (which need a linked X account) and a daily check-in. The testnet FAQ says PHRS is the gas token for testnet transactions.
Step 3: Check that you belong to an eligible group
The claim site names testnet participants, "Stake Before the Stake" contributors, Pharos Discord role holders and OKX Wallet campaign users. Several groups combine into one claim.
Step 4: Pick a claim strategy before the window closed
On the claim site, a user who chose no strategy before the window closed defaulted to Instant Claim. The claim page read "Claim Ended" when checked on 1 November 2026, which closes this choice for good.
Pharos airdrop FAQ
Is the Pharos airdrop still live?
- No. As of 1 November 2026, the Pharos claim site shows "Claim Ended" for the testnet participant airdrop, so claiming is closed. The homepage says the mainnet has been live since April 2026. The resources page lists a Season of AI blog post dated 5 October 2026 without saying whether a rewards campaign comes with it.
Which token does the Pharos airdrop pay?
- The claim site speaks only of an allocation and gives no token name or amount. Separately, the resources page lists a post on PROS tokenomics dated 20 April 2026, and the testnet FAQ calls PHRS the gas token for testnet transactions.
Who qualified for the Pharos airdrop?
- The claim site names four groups: testnet participants, "Stake Before the Stake" contributors, Pharos Discord role holders and OKX Wallet campaign users. Someone in more than one group gets a single consolidated claim rather than separate ones.
Does the Pharos airdrop cost anything or need KYC?
- The testnet route cost nothing beyond time: the onboarding guide has users claim testnet tokens, up to 0.2 every 24 hours, after connecting a wallet. Social tasks need a linked X account, and the claim site asks users to agree to its terms. Neither page lists an ID check.
Which chain is the Pharos airdrop on?
- The airdrop belongs to Pharos, which describes itself as its own EVM-compatible layer 1. Participants used the Pharos testnet, and the homepage says the Pacific Ocean mainnet has been live since April 2026. The claim site does not name another chain.
