Earn RUBI on Rubicon by swapping, providing liquidity or climbing volume leaderboards in the Rubicon app; live as of 29 October 2026.
What is Rubicon?
Rubicon is a decentralized, non-custodial trading venue that presents itself as onchain liquidity infrastructure for traders, market makers and projects. Orders settle on the blockchain where anyone can inspect them, and funds are never handed to a custodian.
Its liquidity toolkit has five parts: V2 constant-product pools, concentrated-liquidity (CLMM) pools with custom ranges, HFT Vaults that package managed CLMM positions, an onchain order book, and an aggregator that routes orders across Rubicon liquidity and outside venues. The order book system has been live on Optimism since 2021.
RUBI is Rubicon's governance token, used to steer incentive programs, proposals and security matters. Rubicon runs markets on five EVM networks today.
How Rubicon works
Liquidity providers deposit token pairs into Rubicon pools, and traders swap against that liquidity. V2 pools spread funds across the whole price curve, CLMM pools let a provider pick a narrower price range, and HFT Vaults hand range management to a market maker who rebalances and shares the fees. The aggregator sends a swap along the best route, whether through Rubicon pools or external venues.
RUBI rewards sit on top of those activities. The homepage lists four ways to earn: swapping through the aggregator, supplying V2 liquidity on supported pairs, placing CLMM liquidity in tight ranges, and ranking on live volume leaderboards. The Earn dashboard in the app shows liquidity farming as live, with continuous reward accrual on its farms, and gives each connected wallet a total earned figure and a claimable amount.
The homepage and the Earn dashboard give no end date for these rewards and describe no season or snapshot.
The RUBI airdrop
The campaign pays RUBI, the Rubicon governance token. Rewards accrue to wallets that swap through the aggregator, add liquidity to supported V2 or concentrated pools, or place well on live volume leaderboards. Qualifying comes from using the Rubicon app with a connected wallet, and the Earn dashboard shows what a wallet has earned and can claim.
Step by step: how to get the RUBI airdrop
Stay safe: a real airdrop never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Use only the official links on this page, and treat any message that offers help with a claim as a scam.
Step 1: Open the Rubicon app and connect a wallet
Go to the Rubicon Earn dashboard and use the Connect button to link the wallet you plan to use. Your earned and claimable figures appear there once connected.
Step 2: Swap through the aggregator
Open the Swap page to trade through best-route aggregation, which the homepage lists as earning RUBI.
Step 3: Add liquidity to a supported pool
Supply a pair on the V2 liquidity page, or place a concentrated position through the CLMM pools. According to the homepage, V2 pairs that are supported carry RUBI incentives, while CLMM positions held in tight ranges earn RUBI in addition to fees.
Step 4: Climb the volume leaderboards
The homepage says live volume leaderboards earn RUBI and links its Compete button to the Earn dashboard.
Step 5: Check your earnings on the Earn dashboard
Return to the Earn dashboard to see the total earned and the amount claimable now.
