What is SCOR™?
SCOR™ is a peer-to-peer network for programmable fandom, built for sports fans and the holders of sports intellectual property. Its home page describes a system where fan engagement is recorded as verifiable, on-chain skill.
Two ideas set it apart. The likenesses of athletes and other sports IP are to be recorded on a universal ledger with adjustable usage settings, which turns them into programmable assets that applications on the network can build on. Fan skill, in turn, is meant to become a permanent record of achievement, with future modules adding skill-based interactions.
The project lays out a three-phase plan: a flagship application that deploys the core modules of its Fan Engagement Protocol, an SDK for third-party developers, and finally the SCOR L1 mainnet. The home page also links to a play site under the label "start playing".
How SCOR™ works
SCOR™ ties rewards to proven fan skill. In the project's own description, skill is verified on-chain, rewarded with SCOR, and spending SCOR unlocks new uses for IP assets. On-chain activity then funds further rewards and protocol growth. The home page says the network is designed to remove intermediaries.
The Invitational was a community campaign. The blog says it has ended and reports its final snapshot and winners in a wrap-up post. A Claim Portal post says early supporters can check their eligibility and register to claim SCOR. The blog front page gives no per-person amounts, so none are stated here.
Play is the other route the blog describes. Its headline for the Gem Polisher post says the Gem Polisher turns gameplay into SCOR. Head-to-head tournaments pair two players at the same entry level, each paying a fixed SCOR entry fee, and the winner's reward is credited to their Game Wallet when the match ends.
