Spectra Finance SPECTRA airdrop step by step tutorial
Spectra Finance paid weekly SPECTRA emissions to liquidity providers in its pools, and that reward stream is closed. Per the docs, emissions stood at zero from 2 July 2026 onward, and the app no longer offers the rewards it once showed. Earning them meant depositing assets into a Spectra pool. As of 29 October 2026, the homepage and docs show no open points or rewards campaign.

Spectra Finance SPECTRA emissions for pool liquidity providers have ended; read how the rewards worked and what the protocol still offers.
What is Spectra Finance?
Spectra Finance is a permissionless, fully on-chain protocol for fixed-rate yield and interest rate trading.
The core mechanism splits a yield-bearing asset into a Principal Token (PT), which carries fixed-rate exposure, and a Yield Token (YT), which carries floating-rate exposure. Each part is tradable on its own. Because the protocol is permissionless, anyone can launch a pool, and a pool on Spectra is not a partnership with Spectra.
On top of the pools sit MetaVaults, where you deposit once and a curator manages liquidity across Spectra pools and maturities. Spectra describes its markets as native cross-chain infrastructure, and the docs also cover a Stellar deployment.
How Spectra Finance works
Spectra takes a yield-bearing token, such as a deposit receipt from a lending market, and separates it into a PT and a YT. You buy a PT for less than it later pays out, and the fixed payout arrives at maturity. A YT gives variable-rate exposure, including to rewards and points programs of the underlying asset, and it expires on the pool's maturity date, the same date on which PTs mature.
Liquidity providers hold an LP token made of two parts: the interest-bearing token and its PT counterpart. Pool returns combine yield from the interest-bearing token and PT holdings with trading fees. MetaVaults let you skip choosing pools yourself: a curator allocates the deposit across pools and maturities.
The campaign worked as an extra on top of pool yield. While SPECTRA emissions ran, the app's pool APY breakdown showed SPECTRA rewards alongside the other components of an LP's return. A governance proposal, SGP-20, brought the weekly emissions to zero from 2 July 2026, and the docs state the rewards once shown are no longer offered.
The docs add that third-party rewards or points should be mentioned only after an active campaign and its eligibility rules are verified. The content guide gives no snapshot or claim date for the earlier SPECTRA emissions.
The SPECTRA airdrop
The campaign paid SPECTRA emissions on a weekly basis to liquidity providers, shown as part of the pool APY breakdown in the Spectra app. The docs describe the emissions as a benefit for liquidity providers and give no further eligibility rules. The emissions have been zero since 2 July 2026, so no SPECTRA rewards from this campaign are available to new participants as of 29 October 2026.
Step by step: how to get the SPECTRA airdrop
Kept for reference: this is how the campaign worked while it ran.
Stay safe: a real airdrop never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Use only the official links on this page, and treat any message that offers help with a claim as a scam.
Step 1: Open the pools in the Spectra app
The pools page lists Spectra markets across networks. Each pool pairs an interest-bearing token with its PT.
Step 2: Pick a pool and read its APY breakdown
While emissions ran, the breakdown showed the SPECTRA reward next to the pool's other yield components. The docs now describe that reward as no longer offered.
Step 3: Provide liquidity to the pool
Depositing into a pool gave you an LP token made of the interest-bearing token and its PT counterpart. The Spectra docs cover the protocol.
Step 4: Earn SPECTRA emissions while they ran
Weekly SPECTRA emissions were added to the pool's return. They have been zero since 2 July 2026, so this step no longer pays.
Step 5: Look at what Spectra still offers
The fixed-rate page and the MetaVaults page cover the products that remain, none of which pays SPECTRA emissions.
Spectra Finance airdrop FAQ
Is the Spectra Finance airdrop still live?
- No. As of 29 October 2026, the Spectra docs say weekly SPECTRA emissions have been zero since 2 July 2026, and the SPECTRA rewards once shown in the app are no longer offered. The homepage and docs show no open points or rewards campaign run by Spectra itself, though its markets and MetaVaults remain listed.
Which token did the Spectra campaign pay?
- It paid SPECTRA. The docs refer to weekly SPECTRA emissions that have been zero since 2 July 2026 under a proposal called SGP-20. The content guide gives no supply figure or claim date for these emissions, and it tells projects not to advertise them as a current liquidity provider benefit.
What did it cost to earn Spectra emissions?
- Taking part meant providing liquidity to a Spectra pool, which means depositing assets into it. An LP token on Spectra consists of the interest-bearing token and its PT counterpart. Nothing is available to earn now, since the emissions are at zero as of 29 October 2026.
Which chain does Spectra run on?
- Spectra is not tied to one chain. Its homepage describes native cross-chain infrastructure with yield markets across many networks, including Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum and Katana, and its docs also cover a Stellar deployment.
