ARB
Arbitrum airdrops
Arbitrum One is an Ethereum layer 2 network that Offchain Labs opened to developers on 28 May 2021. It is an optimistic rollup that settles to Ethereum, the Arbitrum Foundation operates it, and holders of the ARB token govern it. Fees on Arbitrum One are paid in ETH and your existing Ethereum wallet works there, so to take part in an Arbitrum airdrop you need some ETH on Arbitrum One, which you can bridge in from Ethereum.

About Arbitrum
Arbitrum One is an Ethereum layer 2 rollup built by Offchain Labs. Find Arbitrum airdrops, their tasks and token details on AirdropStop.
Arbitrum One is a layer 2 network that settles its transactions to Ethereum. It is an optimistic rollup developed by Offchain Labs, and it is governed by the Arbitrum DAO, whose members vote with the ARB token. Apps on Arbitrum use Ethereum tooling and wallets, with lower fees than Ethereum mainnet.
Arbitrum airdrops FAQ
What is Arbitrum?
- Arbitrum is a technology for scaling Ethereum, and Arbitrum One is its flagship chain, which Offchain Labs opened to developers on 28 May 2021. It is an optimistic rollup: transactions run on Arbitrum, the data is posted to Ethereum, and a result stands unless a validator challenges it. Withdrawals back to Ethereum typically take 6.4 days because of that challenge period.
Which wallet do I need for Arbitrum airdrops?
- Any wallet that works with Ethereum. Arbitrum's docs say it put Ethereum compatibility first, so your existing Ethereum wallets, apps and addresses all work. You need ETH on Arbitrum One to pay fees, because ETH, not ARB, is the fee token. Move it in with the Arbitrum bridge; deposits from Ethereum have no challenge delay. A legitimate airdrop never asks for your seed phrase or private key.
What is the ARB token used for?
- ARB is Arbitrum's governance token. Holders vote on ArbitrumDAO proposals or delegate their votes to a delegate, and the DAO governs Arbitrum One, Arbitrum Nova and the Security Council. ARB does not pay transaction fees; ETH does. The ARB airdrop began on 23 March 2023 and ended on 24 September 2023, and the Arbitrum Foundation says claiming is no longer live.
