What is Forecast?
Forecast is a protocol for leveraged binary markets, the yes-or-no outcome markets used in prediction trading, built so that positions carry no liquidation. Its site cites $63.5 billion of prediction-market volume in 2025 and a current pace above $6 billion a week, all fully collateralized, and says the category has scale but no leverage.
Forecast moves the solvency check from each position to the pool. Because a binary market has only two results, a pool holding both sides can confirm at the moment a position opens that it can pay out whichever way the market resolves. Leverage of 100x or more is possible when the pool behind a market is deep.
Liquidity providers supply USDC and take a passive role. The final settlement logic is a fixed contract whose rules were proved in Lean 4, while execution, routing and discovery run off-chain.
How Forecast works
A binary market ends in one of two results, so there is no gradual price path for a liquidation engine to act on. Forecast therefore checks the pool once, when a position is opened, and no monitoring follows. Holding a position means paying continuous funding to the pool; the site describes a 100x position as lasting about days and the same position at 5x as lasting about months.
Liquidity providers supply USDC and earn the funding that open positions pay, which grows the more the pool is used.
The campaign was a founding pre-deposit round with a $2 million cap and a leaderboard. For this round, the deposit access site lists no scoring rule, payout size or token information. Money deposited after the cap was reached stays in the Vault outside the leaderboard. Once mainnet is live it can be withdrawn, and the site says a return before mainnet can be requested.
The None named airdrop
The deposit access site mentions a leaderboard for the founding pre-deposit campaign but gives no reward type, amount or token details, and it does not describe how entries were scored. The round closed when it reached its $2 million cap, and the site names no other way to earn from it.
