Glacier Network GLS airdrop step by step tutorial

The Glacier Network airdrop is the Glacier Points System, whose Season III was live as of 29 October 2026. Taking part means connecting a wallet, finishing social tasks, sharing a referral link and running a verifier node on the project's testnet. Points are redeemable for GLS tokens, and the node task is the one tied to the whitelist spot and the 1:1 token rewards.

Live · checked 29 October 2026

As of 29 October 2026, the Glacier points page shows Season III as live, with social, referral and node-running tasks that earn points redeemable for GLS tokens, while the two earlier seasons are marked closed. The nodes page also still invites people to apply to run verifier nodes.

Glacier Network's Season III points program is live: complete social, referral and node tasks to earn points redeemable for GLS tokens.

What is Glacier Network?

Glacier Network is a blockchain project for AI data. Its own site calls it programmable, modular and scalable infrastructure for agents, models and datasets. The product line has three parts: GlacierAI, a decentralized vector database with a chatbot bench; GlacierDB, a database layer that sits on top of storage networks; and GlacierDA, a data availability layer for decentralized storage.

GlacierDB runs on top of Arweave, Filecoin and BNB Greenfield, which lets developers query data that lives on permanent storage. The project says its batch approach, combined with Bundlr, can lower data costs by up to 90%. The audience is developers building AI applications and Web3 apps, plus people who run the network's nodes.

What sets it apart is the privacy tooling it lists for AI work: trusted execution environments, secure multiparty computation, fully homomorphic encryption and zero-knowledge proofs.

How Glacier Network works

GlacierDB works as a NoSQL database layer between applications and decentralized storage. Developers write and run queries against data stored on networks built mainly for saving files, and the project says batching reduces how much data has to be read and stored. For AI inference, Glacier uses trusted execution environments so model owners keep their intellectual property and results come back tamper-proof.

The network is run by nodes. Verifier nodes check the work proofs submitted by worker nodes and keep consensus. Worker nodes come in three kinds: data availability nodes that produce blocks, TEE nodes that handle encrypted computation, and indexer nodes that serve queries for the database and the vector database.

The campaign is the Glacier Points System, now in Season III. Tasks are social actions, a referral task and node running, and each task pays a different amount, usually more for harder ones. Points are redeemable for GLS tokens, and the points page labels the token rewards as 1:1. The whitelist spot, which gives early access to future GLS sale events, and the future tokens require a verifier node on the testnet with consistent uptime. Nothing on the points page says when Season III stops.

The GLS airdrop

The Glacier Points System pays points for Season III tasks: social tasks, referrals and node running. Points are redeemable for GLS tokens, shown as 1:1 token rewards, and a whitelist spot gives early access to future GLS sale events. To earn the whitelist spot and the tokens, you deploy a verifier node on the Verifier Nodes Testnet and keep it online consistently.

Step by step: how to get the GLS airdrop

Stay safe: a real airdrop never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Use only the official links on this page, and treat any message that offers help with a claim as a scam.

  1. Step 1: Open the Glacier points page

Go to the Glacier Points System and connect your wallet to see your Season III points, your GLS balance and your whitelist status.

  2. Step 2: Finish the social tasks

Complete the social task list shown for Season III. Each task pays a different number of points, and harder ones usually pay more.

  3. Step 3: Run a verifier node on the testnet

Deploy a node on the Verifier Nodes Testnet by following the instructions linked from the FAQ on the points page, and keep it online. The page ties the whitelist spot and the 1:1 GLS rewards to this task.

  4. Step 4: Share your referral link

Copy your referral link from the points page and send it on. An invitee counts as valid once they log in through it for the first time and finish the social tasks or run a testnet node.

  5. Step 5: Track points and redeem

Return to the points page to follow your invited users, valid invitees and points. Points are redeemable for GLS tokens.

Glacier Network airdrop FAQ

Is the Glacier Network airdrop still live?

Yes. As of 29 October 2026, Glacier's points page shows Season III as live, while the two earlier seasons are marked closed. Season III tasks include social actions, referrals and running a verifier node on the testnet. The nodes page also still invites people to apply to run verifier nodes. Nothing on the points page says when Season III stops.

What is the GLS token?

GLS is the token the Glacier Points System pays out. The points page says points from social tasks and referrals are redeemable for GLS tokens, and it shows a 1:1 GLS rewards line. It also describes the whitelist as early access to future GLS sale events. The page gives no launch date or amount per point.

Does the Glacier Network airdrop cost anything?

The points page lists no fee for joining Season III, whose tasks are social actions, referrals and node running. Running a verifier node means deploying one on the Verifier Nodes Testnet and keeping it online, and the page gives no hardware or hosting cost for that. Network fees are not mentioned.

Does the Glacier Network airdrop need KYC?

No identity check appears in the Season III task list. You connect a wallet on the points page, then complete social tasks, share a referral link or run a testnet verifier node. Nothing on that page asks for a passport, a selfie or an exchange login.

How do you earn the whitelist spot and GLS rewards?

Complete the tasks listed in Season III, with the node-running task as the important one. The points page says the whitelist spot and future GLS tokens require a verifier node on the Verifier Nodes Testnet with consistent uptime. Each task pays different points, and harder tasks usually pay more.
