Grass airdrop step by step tutorial

The Grass campaign pays Grass Points to people who share spare internet bandwidth, and the Grass homepage was still inviting new downloads on 29 October 2026. Joining means installing the Grass mobile app, desktop app or Chrome extension, creating an account and leaving the app connected. Points feed into later distributions of Grass Tokens or USDC, and people in some sanctioned or high-risk jurisdictions may not be eligible.

Live · checked 29 October 2026

As of 29 October 2026, the Grass homepage invites visitors to download the app or Chrome extension and earn Grass Points by keeping their device online. Its FAQ says points feed into later distributions of Grass Tokens or USDC.

Earn Grass Points by sharing unused internet bandwidth through the Grass app or Chrome extension, with points counting toward Grass Tokens or USDC.

What is Grass?

Grass is a bandwidth-sharing network in which everyday users let verified institutions route requests for public web data through their idle home internet connection, and receive rewards in return. It runs as a mobile app, a desktop app and a Chrome extension.

Grass describes its purpose as giving users a share of value that companies already gain from residential connections. The work done over shared bandwidth includes price checks in a region, ad viewing by region and academic research.

The app works in the background, and sharing can be paused whenever the user wants. Grass states that its network and the institutions using it cannot reach personal data.

How Grass works

Grass works by taking a user's consent at installation, then connecting the app so that verified institutions can send public web data requests through the spare part of the user's connection. Contributions are recorded as Grass Points.

Grass Points come in two kinds. Uptime Points reward staying connected and bringing in referrals. Network Points are paid only when a connection is actually used for traffic. Each day a fixed pool of 1,000,000 Network Points is divided among users in proportion to how much of their bandwidth the network used, so a user whose bandwidth went unused on a given day receives none that day.

Points are not the final reward. The Grass FAQ calls Grass Tokens the network's native token and says points are one factor, alongside how bandwidth is used and where the user is located, in the Grass Tokens or USDC a participant may receive. A Stage 2 rewards distribution covers Epochs 1 to 19, from 14 October 2024 to 8 June 2026.

The Grass Tokens airdrop

The campaign pays Grass Points, which arrive as Uptime Points for staying connected and for referrals, and as Network Points when the connection is actually used. Anyone who installs the app or extension and keeps it online can accumulate them. Points are one factor in future distributions of Grass Tokens or USDC, and residents of some jurisdictions may not be eligible for the tokens.

Step by step: how to get the Grass Tokens airdrop

Stay safe: a real airdrop never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Use only the official links on this page, and treat any message that offers help with a claim as a scam.

  1. Step 1: Download the Grass app or extension

Pick the mobile app, desktop app or Chrome extension from the Grass download page and install it.

  2. Step 2: Consent to bandwidth sharing

The installer asks for permission to share unused bandwidth. Confirm it, and the app connects and starts sharing right away.

  3. Step 3: Create a Grass account

Sign up on the Grass app with an email login so the points your device collects are tied to your account.

  4. Step 4: Keep Grass running and watch your points

Leave the app connected in the background and follow Uptime Points and Network Points on the rewards dashboard.

Grass airdrop FAQ

Is the Grass airdrop still live?

Yes. As of 29 October 2026, the Grass homepage invites visitors to download the app or Chrome extension and earn Grass Points by keeping a device online. Its FAQ says points feed into later distributions of Grass Tokens or USDC, so the points campaign is still running.

Does Grass have a token?

Yes. The Grass FAQ describes Grass Tokens as the native token of the Grass Network and lists them among the rewards for sharing bandwidth. The homepage gives no ticker, so none is listed here.

How much does it cost to join Grass?

The homepage lists three steps: download the app, create an account and let Grass run in the background. No purchase or deposit appears among them, so the cost is your time and a connected device.

How are Grass Points earned?

Grass Points come in two kinds. Uptime Points are earned for staying connected and for referrals that count as active. Network Points are earned on days when the network actually uses your bandwidth, from a daily pool of 1,000,000 shared among users.

Who can receive Grass Tokens?

Not everyone. The Grass FAQ says people living in a jurisdiction under sanctions or significant regulatory risk may not currently be eligible for Grass Tokens, and it points to a list of excluded jurisdictions in the Grass Foundation rewards terms.
