HMSTR launched on The Open Network and began trading on Binance on 26 September 2024, the day Hamster Kombat distributed its season 1 airdrop, which closed the campaign listed here. In December 2025 the official Telegram channel said Season 2 rewards would be distributed soon, after a community vote weighted them 90% on Season 2, 9% on the interlude and 1% on Season 1.

What is Hamster Kombat?
Hamster Kombat is a crypto exchange CEO simulator played inside Telegram. Its whitepaper reports 300 million players and gives 26 March 2024 as the launch date.
The project's token is HMSTR, issued on The Open Network with a fixed supply of 100,000,000,000. The whitepaper also states a goal of bringing 1,000,000,000 Web2 users into Web3.
As of 27 October 2026, the season 1 airdrop is over. HMSTR began trading on Binance on 26 September 2024, the same day Hamster Kombat distributed it.
How Hamster Kombat works
Players run a virtual exchange. They grow a coin balance, finish daily combos and ciphers, and collect a daily reward, all to raise passive income. Inviting friends also adds to a player's revenue, so the game has a built-in referral system.
Before the token launched, the whitepaper said the first airdrop would depend on how a player behaved: how active they were, their community interaction, the quality of the friends they invited (real people rather than bots), achievements, wallet integration and reputation.
The season 1 distribution has since happened. Press coverage reported that 131 million of the 300 million players qualified, and that 60 billion HMSTR was set aside for them. Binance also ran a three-day Launchpool for HMSTR, with 3,000,000,000 tokens as rewards, farming from 23 to 25 September 2024. Hamster Kombat had reserved 15 billion HMSTR for season 2.
Later, the project's Telegram channel said Season 2 rewards were coming and told players to stay active in its games. The channel gives no total amount for those rewards.
