MegaETH MEGA airdrop step by step tutorial
The MegaETH campaign is KPI Rewards, in which holders commit MEGA tokens and share in further MEGA released when the network reaches attested milestones. The campaign is open on 29 October 2026, since the token page invites holders to commit now and marks Phase 1 as current. Taking part means holding MEGA, committing it, and staying committed until a milestone is attested.

What is MegaETH?
MegaETH is an Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain built for real-time applications. Its own materials describe more than 100,000 transactions per second and block times of about 10 milliseconds, with transactions settled on Ethereum. It is aimed at uses that need instant confirmation, such as trading apps and onchain games.
The network is compatible with Ethereum tooling, so developers can deploy existing smart contracts. Its native token is MEGA, an ERC-20 token on the MegaETH network, and its native stablecoin is USDm, issued through Ethena's stablecoin stack.
Apps already running on MegaETH include Euphoria, a trading app where users tap a live chart to take a position, and MNSTR, an onchain trading card platform. MOSS, a wallet that lets one balance follow you across apps in the ecosystem, went live on 17 June 2026.
How MegaETH works
MegaETH runs as a Layer 2 that processes transactions in 10-millisecond blocks and settles on Ethereum. MEGA is its native token, issued in an amount of 10,000,000,000.
KPI Rewards pay out MEGA when the network reaches set milestones rather than on a calendar. The token page defines KPIs as measurable milestones in four areas: reliability, performance, adoption and decentralization. Over half of the total supply is reserved for this kind of distribution. In Phase 1, which the token page marks as current, the Foundation defines the KPIs and performs the attestations.
To be eligible, you commit MEGA and leave it committed continuously up to the moment a KPI is attested. Maturity, the portion of your commitment that counts toward payouts, rises steadily each second from 0% to 100%, and a higher maturity means a bigger slice of whatever is distributed.
When a tranche is reached, a set amount of MEGA goes to holders with committed positions. Recipients can collect the MEGA and put the new tokens back into a commitment. The token page gives no tranche size and no date for the next milestone. Phase 2 hands the definition of later KPIs to governance, and Phase 3 replaces manual attestation with oracle-based verification.
The MEGA airdrop
KPI Rewards pay MEGA. Holders who commit MEGA and stay committed without interruption ahead of a KPI attestation qualify once a milestone tranche is reached. A set amount of MEGA goes to committed positions, and a longer commitment, which moves maturity toward 100%, brings a bigger share. Received tokens can be claimed and committed again.
Step by step: how to get the MEGA airdrop
Stay safe: a real airdrop never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Use only the official links on this page, and treat any message that offers help with a claim as a scam.
Step 1: Open the MegaETH token page
Go to the MegaETH token page and read the KPI Rewards section, which covers the conditions, maturity and the KPI list.
Step 2: Hold MEGA in your wallet
KPI Rewards go to holders who commit MEGA, so you need MEGA in the wallet you plan to commit from.
Step 3: Commit your MEGA
Use the Commit Now button in the KPI Rewards section of the MegaETH token page to commit your tokens.
Step 4: Stay committed through attestations
Keep your MEGA committed without interruption ahead of each KPI attestation. Maturity climbs every second toward 100%, and a longer commitment earns a larger share.
Step 5: Claim and re-commit rewards
After a distribution, collect the MEGA allotted to your position. You may commit the new tokens as well.
MegaETH airdrop FAQ
Is the MegaETH airdrop still live?
- Yes. As of 29 October 2026, the MegaETH token page invites holders to commit MEGA now and share in KPI Rewards, and it labels Phase 1 of the KPI roadmap as current. The MEGA token itself launched on 30 April 2026. The token page gives no end date, since the rewards follow milestones rather than dates.
What is the MegaETH token?
- The token is MEGA, ticker MEGA, the native token of MegaETH. It operates as an ERC-20 token on the MegaETH network, and 10,000,000,000 MEGA exist in all. It went live on 30 April 2026, after a network milestone of 10 MegaMafia apps deployed on the chain was hit on 23 April 2026.
How are MegaETH KPI Rewards earned?
- You commit MEGA and keep it committed continuously before a KPI attestation. Your maturity rises every second from 0% to 100%, and a higher maturity gives a larger share of each distribution. When a tranche is reached, committed holders can claim MEGA and re-commit it.
How much does joining MegaETH KPI Rewards cost?
- You need MEGA tokens to commit, so taking part means committing MEGA you already hold rather than paying the project a fee. The token page does not list a fee amount for committing. Network costs for transactions are not described in the KPI Rewards section.
Does MegaETH KPI Rewards require KYC?
- The KPI Rewards section of the token page does not mention identity verification for committing MEGA. KYC does appear elsewhere on that page: it says community-allocation tokens undelivered because of KYC or sybil issues are moved to the Foundation. That note concerns the community allocation, not the commit flow.
