What is Teneo Protocol?
Teneo Protocol is a network that connects AI agents to data sources and APIs. Agents are paid for per result in USDC (x402), and the project says no accounts, keys or subscription are needed to use it.
The network lists hundreds of agents. They can be browsed in a marketplace or run directly from a command-line tool that installs with one command. Builders use the tool, partners add their own APIs to the network, and enterprises deploy agent workflows with the project's help.
The project also says its network runs on community participation. People can run a node through a Chrome extension or use the Beacon app, and both earn rewards in the form of points or Fragments.
How Teneo Protocol works
Teneo Protocol lets AI agents query data sources and APIs on a pay-per-result basis in USDC (x402). Developers install a command-line tool with one command, then browse the agent network or run agents directly from it.
The project says the network runs on community participation, and two programs invite people in. The Community Node program centres on a Chrome extension that runs a node and credits Teneo Points, with quests and a leaderboard attached. The Beacon app is a separate beta app that shares unused bandwidth, and it credits Fragments instead.
As of 27 October 2026 the project has not announced a token, a ticker, a snapshot, a claim date, an amount per point or Fragment, or an end date for either program.
