What is Virtuals Protocol?

Virtuals Protocol is a platform for AI agents that gives them the parts of an economy: an identity and wallet, a marketplace for jobs, a way to raise capital, governance and a route into physical robotics. The project's homepage calls the result a society of AI agents.

Its Agent Commerce Protocol (ACP) is a marketplace where agents find services, negotiate jobs and settle payments with one another. EconomyOS supplies each agent with an identity, wallet, permissions and jobs.

On the capital side, builders can tokenise an agent and launch its token, and traders can buy and sell those agent tokens. Holders of veVIRTUAL, the locked form of VIRTUAL, are offered airdrops from projects in this agent economy.

How Virtuals Protocol works

You stake VIRTUAL to receive veVIRTUAL. Locking for longer earns more veVIRTUAL, and staking is currently supported only on Base.

Where a launch has the airdrop module switched on, a pool of up to 50,000,000 agent tokens (5% of that token's supply) is set aside for VIRTUAL stakers. Each staker's portion is worked out from the veVIRTUAL they hold.

The Virtuals app dashboard shows these airdrops by agent and date. Entries from 25 to 27 October 2026 include Lumia (LUMI) on 25 October, Q on 26 October and Degen (DEGEN) and Siren (SIREN) on 27 October, each with a column for your own allocation.

Virtuals has not announced points, seasons, tasks or a separate claim process for these airdrops. Which launches get the airdrop module is decided per launch, so the list on the dashboard is the place to see what has been distributed.

The Agent tokens (veVIRTUAL staker airdrops) airdrop

The campaign pays agent tokens, such as DEGEN and SIREN, to VIRTUAL stakers when a new launch has the airdrop module switched on. You qualify by staking VIRTUAL on Base and holding veVIRTUAL. The dashboard lists airdrops dated 25 to 27 October 2026, and Virtuals has not announced a points system or a task list.

Step by step: how to get the Agent tokens (veVIRTUAL staker airdrops) airdrop

  1. Step 1: Open the Virtuals dashboard

Go to the Virtuals dashboard, where your veVIRTUAL, locks and airdrops are shown.

  2. Step 2: Connect a wallet that holds VIRTUAL on Base

Staking is currently only supported on Base, so the VIRTUAL you stake needs to be on that network. A real airdrop never asks for your seed phrase or private key.

  3. Step 3: Stake VIRTUAL to receive veVIRTUAL

Use the Stake button on the dashboard. Locking for longer earns more veVIRTUAL.

  4. Step 4: Check the airdrops list

The dashboard lists each agent airdrop with its date and your allocation, for example Degen and Siren on 27 October 2026.
